
10/22 AEW Dynamite Viewership Drops Against NBA Competition – AEW Dynamite experienced a decline in viewership for its October 22 episode, going head-to-head with live NBA coverage.
According to Wrestlenomics, the show drew 477,000 viewers and recorded a 0.08 rating in the key 18–49 demographic. Both figures mark a decrease from the previous week’s episode, which attracted 534,000 viewers and posted a 0.11 demo rating.
The episode opened with The Opps successfully defending the AEW World Trios Championship against The Hurt Syndicate, thanks to interference from Ricochet. The show continued with Kyle O’Reilly picking up a disqualification victory over Jon Moxley in a physical encounter.
Women’s division action saw Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata triumph in a four-way tag team match, earning the right to choose their first-round opponents in the upcoming women’s tag team tournament.
In the main event, Kazuchika Okada retained the AEW Unified Championship after defeating Bandido in a hard-fought match.
