10/28 NXT Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude.com’s coverage of WWE NXT for October 28, airing live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

We begin with a look back at Halloween Havoc.

Trick Williams is in the production room and he says he runs this place.  He tells people to take their hands off the button.  Trick tells Ricky not to be so comfortable with his title.  He asks if Ricky thinks he can get away with that, and he pushes someone against the gate.  Trick continues to walk and he makes his way to the ring and he takes a mic.

Trick says he is not here to play.  He says he has been running things for years.  He is going to say what he has to say.  He says he gave Ricky the best he had.  Ninety-nine out of a hundred times, he will beat him.  He beat him like a drum and like a bum.  He wants one more time.

Ava comes out and says you will not get what you want if you are going to throw a temper tantrum.  She tells Trick that he lost.

Trick says he is the biggest star in NXT.

Look at what he did.  He was the Iron Survivor.  He beat the Mad Dragon.  He showed Melo that he was HIM.  He threw hands in the Underground.  He beat Ricky in the Devil’s Playground.  He showed Pete Dunne that he is the Last Man Standing.

Ricky Saints comes to the ring and they fight until security tries to separate them.

– We get comments from Axiom and Jasper Troy about their match tonight.

We go to commercial.

Men’s Speed Tournament Final: Axiom vs Jasper Troy

Axiom with a drop kick to the knee and kicks to the leg.  Axiom with a chop and Troy grabs Axiom by the throat and Axiom escapes.  Axiom goes to the turnbuckles and  leaps over Troy.  Axiom avoids Troy and punches and strikes in the corner.  Troy catches Axiom and runs him into the turnbuckles.  Troy with a back breaker and he stretches Axiom over his knee.  Troy with a Norther Lariat and he sends Axiom to the floor.  Axiom with a dragon screw in the ropes.  Axiom goes up top and he hits a missile drop kick.  Axiom with kicks and a reverse chin lock but Troy with a snap mare.  Axiom with a jumping knee and he sets for the Golden Ratio but Troy with a body block.  Axiom with a reverse chin lock.  Troy with a clothesline and a World’s Strongest Slam.  Troy with a Black Hole Slam for the three count.

Winner:  Jasper Troy

Troy will face El Grande Americano on November 11th.

– Ava is with Sol and Zaria in OFFICE.  Ava says she heard that Sol is making progress.  Sol says she is making progress but she does not have the crutch any more.  Ava tells Sol not to rush it.  She asks about the Speed Title and if she wants someone to fight for her. Sol says she is going to relinquish the title since they need a fighting champion.  She says he will win back both titles when she comes back since she never lost the title. Ava says a tournament will start next week and she tells Sol not to rush back.

– Tatum and the rest of her group walk in the Champions HALLWAY as we go to commercial.

– We are back and Tatum Paxley makes her way to the ring in a diagonal line with Izzi Dame, Shawn Spears, and Niko Vance.

Tatum says we did it.  She says she has dreamt about this moment for so long to stand in front of you as the NXT Women’s Champion.  Halloween Havoc was the best night of her life.  She was so excited to come back to celebrate with you.  This isn’t about the title, it is about what it stands for.  She says she will never forget the heartache she went through to get here.  She felt that this chance would never come.  They opportunities are rare but when she got one, she made the most of it.  She says some people call her too trusting.  If this creepy little weirdo can be NXT Champion, anyone can be.  She wants to give everyone an opportunity.

Izzi interrupts and says she doesn’t picture Tatum as the person to hand out opportunities and lose the title as fast as she won it.  It has been a long four years, but you made it.  You are chamipon and there is no one happier than her.  You have been chasing this for a long time and you came up short every time.  Are you willing to put it on the line.  She says she would make people earn their title shot.  

Tatum says she is going to do this, and it is going to be amazing.  Tatum says she missed the wheel from Halloween Havoc.  She will spin the wheel and the person who it lands on, they will earn a title match tonight.

Shane tells Izzi that her name is not up there.

Tatum says they would never fight over the title. 

Izzi says she doesn’t want anything to come batween them.

Tatum spins the wheel and it lands on Lola Vice.

– Wren and Kendal are talking and Wren is trying to make sure things go well for her. Kendal says she knows that Lash is the most dominant in NXT and she is not going to lose to her. Kendal asks Wren if she is going to the ring with her.

Back to commercial.

Evolve Women’s Championship: Kendal Gray (Champion) vs Lash Legend

They lock up and Grey avoids Lash in the corner.  Grey with a side head lock.  Grey lands on her feet on a belly-to-back suplex and she goes for an ankle lock.  Lash with a bicycle kick.  Grey pushes Lash and goes for the leg.  Lash with a reverse chin lock.  Lash swings Grey around and tosses her to the mat.  Lash runs into the turnbuckles when Grey moves.  Lash grabs Grey and she sends Grey to the floor.  Grey gets back in the ring and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Lash blocks an arm drag and then Grey with a crucifix for a near fall.  Lash tries to avoid going over on a sunset flip and she windmills to stay on her feet.  Lash pushes Grey into the corner.  Lash misses an elbow drop.  Grey goes for a slingshot stomp but Lash blocks it and sends Grey over the top rope to the floor.  Lash with a kick.  

Lash pulls Grey back into the ring and she connects with forearms across the chest.  Lash pulls Grey’s throat into the top rope.  Lash slams Grey’s head into the mat.  Grey with a forearm and Lash with a forearm to the back.  Lash sends Grey’s head into the top and middle rope.  She does it on the other side of the ring.  Lash with a slam and she gets a near fall.  Lash sends Grey’s head into the mat.  Lash with an elbow drop to the back for a near fall.  Lash with an Irish whip and she runs into a boot and Grey with a boot against the ropes.  Lash with a forearm.  Lash with shoulders in the corner.  Lash with a slam and another slam for a near fall.  Lash with a front face lock.  Grey with punches and kicks.  Grey with a thrust kick.  Lash with a forearm and she gets a near fall.  Lash returns to the front face lock.  

Lash with a short arm clothesline and splash itno the corner.  Lash with an Irish whip and Grey with a cross body and drop kick.  Grey with a punch and Lash pulls Grey by the hair.  Grey kicks Lash and connects with forearms and kicks.  Grey with a back elbow and a second one.  Grey escapes a choke slam and hits a German suplex.  Grey tries to trip Lash but Lash kicks Grey away.  Lash misses a  forearm and Grey kicks Lash from the apron and hits a slingshot double stomp.  Lash goes to the floor.  Grey goes for a baseball slide but Lash blocks it.  Grey with a hesitation DDT on the floor.  Grey goes up top and she hits a cross body but Lash catches Grey and Lash hot shots Grey.  Lash misses a Yakuza Kick and Grey with Shades of Grey for the three count.

Winner:  Kendal Grey (retains championship)

After the match, Grey throws the NQCC hand gesture.

– Myles tells Tavion it can only be one of them.  Whatever happens in the ring, you will always be his buddy.  It will never change.  He tells him to do whatever it takes because he will. Tavion says he felt disrespected at Halloween Havoc.  He doesn’t know how things got misconstrued into this match.  Myles is his brother and he is his dog.  Tavion says he has something to prove to Myles.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and Lola stops Tatum in the back and she tells Tatum she is happy for her winning.  Lola appreciates getting a shot tonight and she says she is going to win. Tatum says she worked her ass off for this and the title reign isn’t going to end tonight. Izzi shows up and she says Lola might not be the best opponent.

Tavion Heights vs Myles Borne

They fist bump and go LIJ before locking up. Tavion with a waist lock and take down. Tavion with a side head lock. Myles with a reversal. Tavion with a single leg take down and he gets Myles up but Myles counters into a sunset flip for a near fall. Tavion with a rollup for a near fall. Myles with a crucifix for a near fall. Tavion with a La Magistral for a near fall. Myles flips over Tavion when he tries for a back slide. Myles tries for Chaos Theory but he cannot get Tavion over so Tavion with a rollup. Tavion with a side head lock and take down. Myles with a head scissors. Tavion with a side head lock and Myles with another head scissors. Tavion with another side head lock take down. Myles with a side head lock take down. Tavion with a head scissors. Myels with a cross body for a near fall.

Myles with a side head lock.  Myles escapes a belly-to-back suplex and Tavion vaults off Myles’ back and he hits a clothesline for a near fall.  Tavion with a side head lock take down.  Tavion sees Myles drop down and Tavion with a side head lock.  Tavion with another side head lock when Myles drops down again.  Myles with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Myles with a side head lock.  Myles holds on when Tavion tries to send Myles off the ropes.  Tavion with a back breaker and he gets a near fall.  Tavion with a side head lock.  Myles reverses and Myles with a swinging neck breaker.

Josh Briggs comes out while Myles gets a near fall.  Tavion with punches and a knee.  Tavion with an Irish whip.  Tavion with a hard Irish whip.  Myles with an Irish whip and Tavion with an Irish whip and Myles with a moonsault for a near fall.  Tavion with an ankle lock.  Myles crawls to the corner and then rolls through to send Tavion into the turnbuckles.  Myles and Tavion exchange forearms.  Myles with a power slam for a near fall.  Tavion gets a near fall and then he goes to the floor and he sees Josh at the announce table.  

Joash gets on the apron and Tavion with a foerarm.  Myles clotheslines Tavion over the top rope to the floor.  Myles with a slingshot pescado onto Tavion and Josh.  MYles with a drop kick but Tavion holds on to the ropes to avoid the Zig Zag.  Myles with a rollup for the three count.

Winner:  Myles Borne

After the match, they shake hands and hug.

Josh pulls Tavion from the ring and they exchange punches.  Myles watches this and Trick Williams hits Myles in the back with the chai. Trick tells Ricky to say he is scared and give him his title back.  Ricky comes from behind and punches Trick.  Trick sends Ricky to the floor and security comes out and pulls them apart.  Ricky gets free and punches Trick.

– Chelsea Green and Ethan Page are in the back and they talk about Ethan’s match on Saturday.

She says they have a big match on Sunday for the mixed tag titles.  Ethan says the celebration would be muy grande.  Ethan asks Chelsea to deal with the secuirty.  Ethan asks about the job opening.  Chelsea says she has been all over the world and…

Thea Hail says I believe in Joe Hendry and he shows up. Joe says they better win before thinking about their match.

Tatum Paxley vs. Lola Vice for the NXT Women’s Championship

They lock up and Lola with a side head lock.  Lola with a side head lock take down.  Tatum gets a near fall with a rollup.  Tatum with a side head lock and take down.  Lola with a head scissors and she presses up and runs Tatum’s head into her rear end.  Tatum with a head stand to escape but Lola applies a cross arm breaker and Tatum locks her hands and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Tatum with a drop kick and cross body into the corner.  Tatum with an Irish whip but she misses a splash.  Lola with a springboard arm drag and a wrist lock.  Tatum with a Northern Lights suplex into a top wrist lock.  

We see Fatal Influence arriving at the PC.

Lola with a triangle on Tatum and Tatum gets a near fall.  Lola missesa  round kick when tatum slides under.  

Jacy attacks Izzi from behind and send her into the ring steps and ringside barrier.

No Contest

They surround the ring and get on the apron.  They enter the ring and Lola and Tatum fight off Fallon and Lainey.  Lola is sent into the ring post.  All three attack Tatum and kick and punch her.  Jacy with a rolling elbow to Tatum.

We go to commercial.

– Blake Monroe is in her bath tub.  She says her makeup is perfect, just like her title win on Saturday.  This title isn’t just hers.  Her mirror reflects the envy and scandal that follows.  Anyone who has hope to win her title.  When you chase the glamour, hell is not far behind.  She is not your hero.  Every step she takes, take it as a warning.  She can take anything and make it hers.  Blake says her first defense will e fitting for her… New York City.  Nothing glows brighter or darker than her.  Her star shines forever.

– Vic mentions Gold Rush on the 18th and 25th.

– Vic says someone is lurking and it is Anonymous.

We see Je’Von on the phone talking to Leon about tonight’s show. Evans talks about what he did for Leon. Dark State enter the room and they talk about Leon.  Dion says they must be out of their mind if they think they are worthy of a title match. Evans says after Leon is done with his business in TNA, he will be back. Saquon says they don’t inspire any fear in them.  He suggests Evans face one of them in a singles match next week.

We go to commercial.

– Sol and Zaria walk outside and Kelly asks Sol about what Blake said. Zaria says she is going to enter the tournament and she will win it for them.

– Jacy says she has been overlooked for too damn long to lose like that.  They will see Tatum, Izzi, and Lola next week.

TNA Knockouts Championship: Kelani Jordan (Champion) vs Jordynne Grace

They lock pu and Kelani backs Grace into the corner but Grace with a side head lock and take down.  Kelani with a head scissors but Grace escapes and applies a side head lock.  Kelnai iwth a forearm to the upper chest.  Kelani gets to her feet on a suplex attempt.  Grace gets Kelani on her shoulders but Kelani escapes.  Kelani slaps Grace and Grace with a Thesz Press and punches.  Grace with a shoulder from the apron and she tries to suplex Kelani to the floor.  Kelani blocks it and she catches Grace in the ropes.  Kelani with a frog splash to the legs and Grace goes to the floor.  Kelani with an Asai Moonsault to Grace.

Grace blocks being sent into the ring steps.  Kelani blocks a back heel kick and she stomps on the back of the leg.  Kelani slams the leg into the apron.  Kelani with kicks to the hamstring followed by a KneeDT.  Kelani sends Grace into the turnbuckles and she wraps the leg in the ropes.  Grace with a back elbow and elani with kicks and she sends Grace into the turnbuckles.  Kelani drops the back of the leg over her shoulder.  Kelani with a spinning leg drop to the leg.  Kelani with another leg drop and she hits a third one and gets a near fall.  Kelani with a single leg crab and she kicks Grace in the back of the head.  Kelani pulls Grace into the center of the ring when Grace goes for the ropes.  Grace rolls through and sends Kelani into the turnbuckles.

Kelani with a kick to the knee and then Grace with a reverse Alabama slam.  Grace with forearms and Kelani with kicks.  Grace blocks an STO.  Grace slaps Kelani and slams her.  Grace with another slam and she gets Kelani up again but Kelani escapes and clips Grace.  Grace avoids a splash into the corner and she runs Kelani into the turnbuckles and then hits short arm clotheslines.  Grace with a spinebuster for a near fall.  Kelani avoids the Juggernaut Driver and she kicks Grace and hits a cross body but Grace holds on and rolls through.  Grace gets Kelani on her shoulders but Kelani lands on her feet.  Kelani with a handspring split legged cutter for a near fall.  Both with forearms at the same time.  Grace floats over but her knee gives out.  Grace with a World Strongest Slam but Grace misses the moonsault when she slips on the ropes.  Kelani gets a near fall.

Grace kicks Kelani to escape a single leg crab.  Kelani rolls through but Grace counters with a power bomb for a near fall.  Grace goes for a Burning Hammer but Kelani counters with a victory roll for a near fall.  Kelani with a thrust kick.  Grace slaps Kelani from the apron.  Grace goes up top and Kelani kicks Grace.  Kelani with forearms to the back.  Kelani with Spanish Fly for a near fall.

Trick and Ricky fight into the ringside area and Ricky is sent through the ringside barrier.

Kelani has the title belt and she drops it.  Grace with Chaos Theory for a near fall.  

Ricky and Trick get in the ring and Ricky punches Trick.  Ricky clotheslines Trick over the top rope to the floor and Ricky follows.

Kelani has the title belt and she hits Grace with it and she gets the three count.

Winner:  Kelani Jordan (retains championship)

After the match, Trick punches security and Ricky runs Trick through the HBalKony cylinder.

Ava comes out and says if you want to fight, you can do it.  In two weeks for the NXT Championship, Last Man Standing.

They continue to fight.

10/28 NXT Live Preview

Fresh off her successful defense against Indi Hartwell at TNA Bound For Glory on October 12, Kelani Jordan will once again put the TNA Knockouts Championship on the line. Her challenger is Jordynne Grace, a three-time former champion. The two have exchanged heated words backstage in recent weeks, setting the stage for a tense showdown.

Over in WWE, Kendal Grey will defend the Evolve Women’s Championship for the first time on television since defeating Kali Armstrong on the October 15 episode of WWE Evolve. Her opponent, Lash Legend, confronted Grey during NXT Halloween Havoc, interrupting a conversation with Karmen Petrovic and Wren Sinclair. Their backstage clash adds fuel to tonight’s title match.

In the WWE Speed Championship Number One Contenders Tournament, SmackDown star Axiom faces off against WWE LFG season one co-winner Jasper Troy. Axiom earned his spot by defeating Sean Legacy, while Troy advanced after beating TNA’s Zachary Wentz. The winner will challenge current champion El Grande Americano.

Also on the card, former No Quarter Catch Crew members Myles Borne and Tavion Heights will meet in singles competition. Their shared history adds intrigue to a match that could redefine their individual paths.
