
10/6 WWE SmackDown Results – The show kicks off with a flashback to the moment when LA Knight was revealed as John Cena’s tag team partner for the upcoming Fastlane event.
We are live from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, as LA Knight makes his way to the ring. As soon as Knight begins his “Lemme talk to ya!”, out comes Paul Heyman accompanied by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.
Paul reminds everyone that his name is not Boo, it is Paul Heyman. He says he is able to spot the next big thing in this industry. He says he knows who the next mega star is going to be. Paul says the next big Mega Star is going to be . . . LA Knight. Paul says he hates when people “YEAH”. He says Knight is on a roll and he has all the momentum in the world. He says Knight has earned his respect and admiration.
Paul is interrupted by the crowd and then he says that pisses him off. Paul says it pisses off Jimmy too. Solo doesn’t care enough. With all of the respect and admiration, he gives Knight his compliments. He also gives Knight his condolences. Now that you have earned his attention, the Bloodline is going to have to do something about that.
Knight asks Paul if he is done running his fat jowls. Knight says he appreciates Paul putting respect on his name. Knight says he didn’t buy any of Paul’s BS. You are out here… Jimmy tells Knight to shut his mouth. He says they have not been properly introduced. He says they are here to tell Knight that he ain’t making it to Fastlane.
Jimmy and Solo take their time getting onto the apron and that allows John Cena’s music to be played for Cena to get to the ring to even the numbers up.
Paul suggests that Jimmy and Solo retreat for now and Jimmy does, but Solo takes his time. Knight says you are out for a fight, but you didn’t have permission from your little chief to come out here. Knight says everyone is talking about the match at Fastlane but Knight says he is thinking about tonight. What about the wannabe tribal chief and him later tonight so he can punt his ass to the moon.
Jimmy is okay with that but Paul is not okay with it.
– We see The Judgment Day arriving in the garage and Priest wants to know why JD McDonagh is here. Rhea says JD is here because she invited them.
– Charlotte Flair & Asuka make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.
Charlotte Flair & Asuka vs. Damage CTRL
Flair and Iyo start things off. Flair misses a boot and Iyo with a victory roll for a near fall. Iyo with a head scissors take down. Iyo goes for a crucifix bomb but Flair blocks it and Flair sends Iyo to the mat. Iyo lands on her feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Flair with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Flair with a front face lock and she tags in Asuka. Asuka with chops. Iyo with an Irish whip and Asuka with a sunset flip from the turnbuckles for a near fall. Iyo with a rollup for a near fall. Iyo with a side head lock but Asuka tries for an Asuka lock. Iyo goes for a rollup but Asuka escapes and hits a drop kick. Bayley pushes Iyo out of the way and Asuka with a running hip to Bayley. Asuka with a kick to Iyo and Asuka goes up top for a double missile drop kick.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Bayley with a reverse chin lock on Asuka. We see footage of Iyo hitting a running boot to Asuka’s head during the break. Bayley with a suplex but she holds her knee before making the cover for a near fall. Iyo tags in and she kicks Asuka in the back. Iyo goes for a camel clutch and hammer lock but Asuka leans back for a near fall. Iyo with a body scissors and Asuka leans back for a near fall. Iyo bites the ear. Bayley tags in and she kicks Asuka. Asuka with punches and Bayley runs Asuka into the turnbuckles to stop the tag. Bayley with a kick in the corner and she punches Flair on the apron. Bayley sends Asuka into the turnbuckles and Iyo tags in.
Bayley and Iyo with a double flapjack for a near fall broken up by Flair. Iyo with a wrist lock and Asuka with forearms but Iyo holds on. Iyo with a kick and Irish whip but Asuka with a forearm to Bayley and an elbow and kick to Iyo but iyo’s shoulder stays off the mat. Iyo with a Shotei and Asuka with a round kick to the midsection. Bayley and Flair tag in. Flair with a forearm and she goes up top for a cross body. Flair with chops to Bayley. Flair with a kick and fallaway slam to Iyo. Flair with a neck breaker and a roundoff move that is countered with a forearm by Bayley. Flair with a flatliner into the turnbuckles and Flair hits the roundoff clothesline for a near fall.
Asuka tags in when Flair does the Flair flip to the apron. Flair with a boot. Asuka sets for a superplex and Flair tags in for a double superplex on Bayley. Kai gets on the apron and Iyo hits Asuka in the back and she hits the Tower of Doom power bomb and everyone is down. Flair with a boot to Bayley for a near fall. Iyo breaks it up with Meteora. Iyo and Bayley pick up Flair and Flair with a kick to Bayley and a forearm to Iyo. Asuka with an Asuka Lock in the ropes and Flair with a boot to Asuka. Bayley with a rollup on Flair for a near fall. Bayley with a knee to Flair and Bayley teases a figure four but Bayley is kicked into Iyo on the apron. Flair with Natural Selection on Bayley for the three count.
Winners: Charlotte Flair and Asuka
Backstage:
Heyman walks in the back with Jimmy and Solo and Paul says Roman needs to approve everything but Jimmy points out that Roman is never here. The door to the locker room is open and The Judgment Day are in there. Jimmy says they are not in the right locker room and Priest says they are in the right place.
We go to commercial.
– We are back with a long stare down between The Judgment Day and The Bloodline. Rhea tells everyone to leave so her and Paul can have a chat. They all leave except for Priest and Solo. Priest leaves and then Paul tells Solo it is okay. Rhea says they need to talk.
– We take a look back at the reformation of the fragile alliance between Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.
– Rey Mysterio makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.
Bobby Lashley vs. Rey Mysterio
Lashley backs Rey into the corner and Rey gets face to pec with Bobby. Bobby with a clean break. Bobby with shoulders in the corner and a running shoulder. Bobby with an Irish whip and a running shoulder into the corner. Bobby with crossfaces in the ropes. Bobby kicks and chokes Rey in the corner. Rey with a kick but Bobby with a kick after Rey goes through the legs. Bobby gets Rey up for a Dominator but Rey lands on his feet. Rey with kicks and a quebrada for a near fall. Bobby charges at Rey and Bobby goes over the top rope to the floor. Rey teaeses a 619.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Bobby with a bear hug. We see Bobby running Rey into the ring post during the commercial break. Bobby with a hard Irish whip to the sternum and Bobby returns to the bear hug. Bobby with a forearm and an Irish whip. Bobby returns to the bear hug. Rey with a punch and he goes to the apron. Rey with shoulders and a kick. Rey goes up top but Lashley with a forearm and it crotches Rey on the top turnbuckle. Rey is pu tin the tree of woe and Bobby kicks and chokes Rey. Bobby with a forearm and a shoulder in the corner. Rey pulls himself up and Bobby with a shoulder into the turnbuckles. Rey with a seated splash and drop kicks to the knee. Bobby gets Rey up for a running power slam but Rey counters into a tornado DDT and he gets a near fall. Rey punches Bobby on the turnbuckles.
Rey is sent to the apron and Rey with a punch. Bobby blocks a shoulder and applies a front face lock. Rey escapes the delayed vertical suplex with knees. Rey drop kicks Lashley into the ropes but Bobby catches Rey on the 619 attempt. Rey holds on to the ropes and he goes to the apron. Rey with a forearm and Bobby knocks Rey off the apron when Rey goes for a springboard move. Santos, Cruz, and Joaquin check on Rey but Lashley Irish whips Rey into the ringside barrier. Lashley sends Santos over the ringside barrier. Bobby catches Rey on a suicide dive. Bobby with a knee but Rey sends Bobby into the ring post. Rey with a 619 to THE midsection. Rey with a 619 and he goes up top but Ford gets on the apron.. Cruz stops Ford but Dawkins sends Cruz into the ring steps. Wilde is sent into Ford by Dawkins and Wilde is down. Rey with a seated splash to Dawkins and he collides into Ford.
Lashley with a spear for the three count.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
After the match, Santos comes into the ring with a chair. Officials call for medical help for Cruz and Joaquin.
Backstage:
Paul and Rhea are in the locker room and Paul nods. Rhea says Paul is a wise man so make the wise decision. Rhea says they are stronger together. The Judgment Day and the Bloodline. Paul says he likes it and he thinks it is rather brilliant. Paul says he is angry at himself for not thinking about it. Paul says he has a phone call to make and he will see about getting it authorized.
Rhea tells Paul it is authorized. Paul says he needs to get it authorized by Roman Reigns. Rhea says she understands and she says it is authorized. Paul says it is authorized for The Judgment Day but Roman has to authorize it for Bloodline.
Rhea tells Paul to acknowledge her. Paul tells Rhea she is in the wrong locker room to say something like that. Rhea says Paul will acknowledge her just like your former boy Jey Uso acknowledged her on Raw. If not, we will find out who is stronger. The Judgment Day or the Bloodline. Rhea tells Paul to go make his little phone call.
Rhea leaves and Paul calls Roman… ReignZ.
– Austin Theory makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.
– We are back with Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. They talk about the curse spreading until they get what they deserve.
Austin Theory vs. Dragon Lee
Before the match starts, Theory tells the crowd they are in the presence of greatness. He beat icons and legends. He even let Dwayne share the ring with him. He says he is the 150,000,000 hit man.
They lock up and Theory backs Lee into the corner. Theory pie faces Lee and Lee chops Theory. Lee with a head scissors take down. Lee with a kick and a leg sweep. Lee with a slingshot kick in the corner for a near fall.
Grayson Waller’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Lee is distracted by Waller and Theory hits Lee from behind. Theory with an Irish whip but Lee floats over and hits a drop kick. Lee with a near fall. Theory stomps on the foot and goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Lee lands on his feet and hits a German suplex. Waller gets on the apron and Theory with a slingshot rolling drop kick.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Theory with a slingshot move but he is stopped by a super kick from Lee. Lee with running forearms and he sends Theory into the corner and hits a super kick. Lee with a hesitation drop kick in the corner for a near fall. Theory blocks a power bomb and Theory with a back fist and neck breaker. Theory punches Lee. Lee floats over into a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Lee goes up top in front of Waller and Theory hits the ropes to crotch Lee. Theory hits Ataxia for a near fall. Theory puts Lee on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex but Lee crotches Theory and hits a double stomp but Theory rolls to the floor. Lee with a flip dive onto Theory and Waller.
Lee sends Theory into the ring and Waller sends Lee into the apron when the referee was not looking. Theory picks up Lee and sets for A Town Down while Grimes sends Waller into the ring post. Lee with a rollup for the three count.
Winner: Dragon Lee
After the match, Grimes celebrates with Lee and welcomes him to Smackdown.
– Rhea is in the back talking to Jimmy Uso and Jimmy says he likes it.
We go to commercial.
Backstage:
We go to the trainer’s room and Rey comes out to tell Santos and Zelina that Cruz and Joaquin won’t be cleared. Zelina wonders what can they do. Rey says he has a phone call to make.
– We take a look at Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura with a video package. We see Damian Priest with the briefcase looking at MONITOR. Cole wonders if Priest will cash in on the winner of the Last Man Standing Match.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Roman Reigns will be on Smackdown next week. Pretty Deadly will face The Brawling Brutes. Triple H will also be on next week’s show.
Jimmy Uso vs. LA Knight
Jimmy has some words for Knight before locking up. Uso backs Knight into the corner. Knight with a side head lock. Knight with a shoulder tackle. Jimmy with a kick and side head lock. Jimmy with another shoulder tackle. Knight with a back elbow and an Irish whip. Jimmy with a boot but Knight with a power slam for a near fall. Jimmy with a kick but Knight avoids a super kick. Jimmy escapes BFT and goes to the floor. Knight with a drop kick through the ropes. Knight sends Jimmy back into the ring and he sees Paul back up. Knight blocks a kick and Jimmy with a spinning heel kick that sends Knight to the floor. Jimmy with a super kick.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Jimmy sends Knight to the apron. Knight with a shoulder and a slingshot into a back breaker. Knight with a flying clothesline and a side Russian leg sweep. Knight with a kick and a DDT. Knight with kicks in the corner. Knight with a running knee to the midsection for a near fall. Jimmy escapes a suplex and hits a thrust kick followed by an uppercut. Knight with a power slam and it is time for the YEAHple’s elbow.
Solo Sikoa attacks Knight from behind and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: LA Knight (by disqualification)
John Cena’s music plays and he comes to the ring to stop Solo and Jimmy. The music for The Judgment Day plays and they make their way to the ring, along with JD McDonagh. With the Bloodline and The Judgment Day standing side by side, Rhea and Paul shake hands.
The JudgeLine get on the apron and are six on two but Jey Uso’s music plays and he comes to the ring to make it six on three. Finn teases entering the ring but Cody Rhodes’ music plays and it is now six on four. Paul pulls Solo off the apron and Cody knocks Priest off the apron.
The Judgment Day fight with Cody, Jey, John, and Knight. Cody with a suicide dive and Jey follows with a plancha. Cena suggests it is time for him to fly but Solo comes into the ring. Cena blocks a punch and he connects with punches to Solo but Solo with a super kick. Knight gets in the ring and Knight clotheslines Solo over the top rope. JD gets BFT followed by a super kick. Cena with a five knuckle shuffle and Attitude Adjustment. Cody sets for CrossRhodes and hits it on JD.
We go to credits.
