6/27 WWE SmackDown Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage of WWE SmackDown on June 27, from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting at 1PM ET.

We are live from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring to start the show.

Before he can even talk, Randy Orton’s music hits and he joins Cody in the ring.

Randy says before he starts talking about what he wants to talk to Cody about, he asks the people if they watched Raw.  Randy asks them if they saw Cody against Jey.  Randy says that was a match of the year candidate.  Randy says he is out here (and we have some technical difficulties from the building)

It looks like it’s a major issue, as broadcast has yet to resume. Stay tuned.

– Michael and Wade mention that there have been some issues in the building so they are back.  Cole insults Wade and Wade says this never happened with Tess.

Backstage:

JC Mateo is in the back and Solo tells him they can’t give Jimmy any chance to come back to the family.  He wants him to show what it is like to have no family.  Solo says everyone will see that they are just getting started.

JC Mateo vs. Jimmy Uso

Jimmy charges at Mateo and he runs Jimmy into the corner and connects with shoulders.  Mateo with punches to Jimmy in the corner.  Jimmy with a punch and chops.  Mateo with a jumping body block.  Jimmy with an uppercut and he sends Mateo to the floor.  Jimmy with a dragon whip to send Mateo to the floor.  Jimmy sets for a dive but Solo playing the role of traffic cop, stands in the way.  Jimmy punches Mateo and Mateo sends Jimmy into the ring post.  Mateo with head butts.  They return to the ring and Mateo with a spinning side slam.  Mateo chokes Jimmy by the ropes so Solo can try to sell him something.

Mateo with an uppercut into the corner.  Jimmy with a punch and chops.  Mateo with a forearm to stop Jimmy.  Mateo with a punch.  Mateo chokes Jimmy in the corner.  Mateo with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot.  Jimmy wtih a chop and Mateo with an Irish whip.  Jimmy gets a boot up but Mateo catches Jimmy off the turnbuckles and hits a uranage.  Mateo with a forearm and a standing moonsault for a near fall.  Mateo with a waist lock and Jimmy wih elbows to escape.  Jimmy with an elbow and a twisting moonsault.  Jimmy with punches and thrust kicks and an uppercut.  Jimmy goes for a Samoan drop and Mateo escapes.  Jimmy with a dragon whip.  Jimmy kicks Mateo to the floor and hits a suicide dive.

Solo distracts Jimmy and Mateo catches Jimmy and hits Tour of the Islands for the three count.

Winner:  JC Mateo

After the match, Solo wants a hug from his big brother but Jimmy slaps Solo.  Mateo attacks Jimmy from behind and he punches Jimmy.  Solo sets for a Samoan Spike. Jacob Fatu comes to the ring and he punches Mateo and Fatu with a Samoan drop. Solo goes to the floor before Fatu can do anything to him.

Fatu realizes that Mateo is still in the ring so he hits a double jump moonsault. Jimmy re-enters the ring and he pushes Fatu out of the way but it was to save Fatu to avoid an attack from Solo.  Jimmy with a super kick to Solo.

Backstage:

Gargano and Ciampa talk to the tag team division about how they need to lead the division that they built.  They are here to protect their tag team division.  Ciampa says if the Wyatts win, they will not get the tag titles for a while. Nick Aldis shows up and says he can hear him. Ciampa says they are trying to protect the tag team division that you don’t care about because you gave the Wyatts a tag title match. Nick says he will do something. Andrade shows up and Nick asks him if he wants to find a tag team partner to face DIY tonight. Ciampa doesn’t like that.

We Hear from Giulia

Giulia tells Zelina they have been calling each other out since you won the title.  You talk about how hard you work, but I don’t have to do that.  She says her heard work is evident and the title does not mean as much to me as it does to you.  It is just a stepping stone.  She will prove the title does not belong to her. Zelina says where she comes from you go to the street to settle things.  She says she has done everything to win this title and you will have to pry it from her dead, cold hands.  She sys she will prove why she is champion.

WWE Women’s United States Championship: Zelina Vega (c) vs. Giulia

Vega with a single leg take down and she gets a near fall.  Vega gets another near fall.  Giulia gets a near fall.  Vega gets a near fall.  Both women with kicks and they are both down.  Giulia sends Vega to the mat.  Giulia with a suplex and she goes to the turnbuckles.  Vega kicks Giulia off the turnbuckles and she knocks Giulia to the floor with a running knee.  Vega goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault.  Vega sends Giulia into the apron but Giulia avoids being sent into the ring steps.  They return to the ring and Giulia with a kick.  Giulia sets for a side slam but she takes too long and Vega with a head scissors.  Giulia blocks a Tiger Feint Kick and Giulia goes for a suplex on the apron but Vega blocks it and she kicks Giulia.  Giulia with a leg sweep on the apron and she hits a hanging neck breaker from the apron.

Giulia sends Vega back into the ring.  Vega misses a punch and Giulia with a head butt.  Giulia goes up top and hits a missile drop kick for a near fall.  Giulia with a rear chin lock and she slams Vega’s head into the mat and follows with a curb stomp for a near fall.  Vega with a wrist lock that sends Giulia to the ring steps and Vega with a running double knee strike against the ring steps.  Vega with a forearm and Giulia fires back.  Giulia with chops and forearms.  Vega with clotheslines and a back elbow.  Giulia blocks a Saito suplex and Vega escapes a slam.  Vega with a kick to Giulia and sends her into the turnbuckles.

Vega with a running double knee strike to the back.  Vega with Meteora for a near fall.  Vega goes up top and Giulia with a boot to stop her.  Giulia hits a super DDT followed by a slam attempt.  Vega with a kick and she hits Code Red for a near fall when Giulia gets to the ropes.  Vega goes to the turnbuckles and misses a moonsault.  Giulia with a running knee to the head and she hits a G Trigger.  Giulia with a Northern Lights Bomb for the three count.

Winner:  Giulia (new champion)

Backstage:

Charlotte Flair and Zelina are in the back and Charlotte says she doesn’t want to talk about it.  Alexa says it looked like Charlotte needed her help.  Charlotte says she isn’t looking for friends.  Alexa says they could be on the same side and be allies of convenience.

We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and Wade Barrett is in the ring wtih the crown for Queen of the Ring.

Out first is Jade Cargill. Asuka is next.

Wade asks Jade what makes her so confident that she will win.

Jade says when people see Asuka, they get nervous.  She sees an opportunity to show why she came here.  She says she has purpose.  At SummerSlam, she doesn’t plan to take the title, she plans to take the whole damn throne.  

Asuka does a little dance before responding and she says that is okay.  You are strong, but the power is not everything.  She says she has skill and experience.  She says that she is Asuka.  She says something in Japanese.  She says no one is ready for Asuka.

Naomi’s music interrupts and she comes out dressed color coordinated to the briefcase.  She says you can fight over the crown but she has all the power.  She can do whatever she wants.  Maybe she will cash in after tonight’s match.  Maybe she’ll wait until one of you battle for the title.  She says Jade hates the fact that she has the power to take it all away, just like she took away the tag title and months from her career.  It brings her pure pleasure when she thinks about how sweet it will be to ruin the biggest night of your career.  She says to proceed with…

Jade knocks down Asuka when going after Naomi on the apron and Asuka with kicks to Jade.

Backstage:

NIck and Adam says they have some details to figure out about the women’s tag titles. Aleister Black shows up and he says he wants a redo. Truth says he’s driving now and he tells Black to back up.  He says he wants John Cena right now. Pearce tells Truth to calm down. Truth wants to know if Nick is going to help. Nick says Cena is here for Punk, not him. Truth says not to worry about this. Nick tells Aleister they will get to his stuff. Black is not happy.

DIY vs. Andrade and Rey Fenix

Ciampa and Andrade start things off.  They go for a test of strength and Andrade with a waist lock.  Ciampa with an elbow and Andrade with a chop.  Rey tags in and Rey with a kick and Andrade with a kick and drop toe hold.  Gargano is sent into the ropes as well.  Rey and Andrade with kicks.  They go up top and hit cross body presses onto Ciampa and Gargano.  Rey sends Ciampa back into the ring and Rey gets a near fall.  Rey gets another near fall.  Rey with a chop against the ropes.  Ciampa with a kick but Rey with a chop.  Ciampa goes to the floor and Rey follows.  Gargano tags in and Ciampa sends Rey into Johnny for a slingshot spear.  Gargano punches Rey.  

Ciampa tags in and Ciampa with a forearm and Gargano with knees.  Ciampa with a kick in the corner.  Ciampa gets a near fall.  Ciampa with an elbow to the clavicle and a kick.  Ciampa sends Rey into Gargano’s boots and they tag back in.  Gargano with an Irish whip and Gargano is sent off the apron and Rey is caught by Ciampa.  Rey with kicks and a drop kick.  Andrade is pulled off the apron by Gargano to stop the tag.  Ciampa gets a near fall.  Ciampa with a chop and he draws Andrade into the ring and that allows a double team.  Ciampa with a chop to Rey and hen he puts Rey on the turnbuckles for a chop.  Ciampa goes up top for a Super Air Raid Cash but Rey escapes and he punches Ciampa off the turnbuckles.  Rey with a running kick on the ropes.  

Andrade and Gagano tag in an Andraede with a clothesline and dragon screw.  Andrade with a flying forearm to Ciampa.  Andrade sets for the running double knee strike and he misses when Gargano moves.  Gargano goes for a slingshot spear but Andrade counters with a hanging GTR and a tornado reverse DDT for a near fall.   Gargano backs Andrade into the corner and Andrade with elbows.  Andrade misses a moonsault and Gargano and Ciampa hit Shatter Machine for a near fall.  Ciampa goes for a suplex but Andrade blocks it.  Andrade hits a suplex and he holds on for a second one.  Andrade hits the third Amigo and he tags in Rey.  

Rey with a frog splash for a near fall.  Ciampa with a double thrust to the throat and Rey and Ciampa exchange forearms and chops.  Gargano and Andrade tag in and they exchange forearms.  Everyone with super kicks and everyone is down.  Andrade and Gargano exchange forearms and Gargano goes up top.  Andrade with an elbow and he sets for a superplex and Gargano blocks it.  Gargano goes for a sunset flip power bomb but Andrade flips to his feet.  Andrade goes for a moonsault and Gargano moves but Andrade with a double stomp.  Rey with a kick to Ciampa followed by a suicide dive to Ciampa.  Andrade and Gargano exchange forearms.  Rey tags in and Gargano with a waist lock.  Rey with a flip off the turnbuckles into a German suplex for a near fall.  Rey sets for a muscle buster and Andrade goes up top but Ciampa pushes Andrade off the turnbuckles.

Gargano with a rollup for a near fall.  Gargano with a poisonrana and Ciampa tags in.  They hit a thrust kick and Fairy Tale Ending combination for a near fall.  Ciampa with Project Ciampa for a near fall when Andrade breaks up the cover.  Andrade with the spinning back elbow to Gargano.  Ciampa with a kick to Andrade.  Ciampa misses a running knee in the corner and Rey with a springboard spin kick.  Rey with a muscle buster bomb followed by The Message for the three count.

Winners:  Rey Fenix and Andrade

We go to commercial.

– We take a look at John Cena on Colbert this week.

– We see the Yin and Yang video package for Cena and Punk.

In the Arena:

R Truth shows up and makes his way to the ring.  He wants to know what’s up.  He says he is Ron Killings.  He is the Truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  He tells John he ain’t letting it ride or let it slide.  He wants John Cena right now.

Aleister Black is behind Truth and he hits Truth with Black Mass. Black tells Ron they are even now.

Backstage:

The Street Profits are interrupted by Byron Saxton. Byron asks them about their title match and their game plan. Montez asks when was the last time they had tag team gold?  Four years.  They had to go through fire to get back to the mountain top.  Any team is crazy to think they will win. Dawkins says they are asked why are they defending the tag titles.  He says they are their only threat and they are taking care of it. B Fab says if need be, she has their back.
