9/15 WWE RAW Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage of WWE RAW for September 15, from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

– We take a look at what happened last week with the Usos and LA Knight.

– Knight pushes Jey as he enters the arena with Jimmy. Adam Pearce wants to talk to both of them in his office.

In the Arena:

We are live from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, as John Cena makes his way to the ring.

John says tonight is an incredible night.  He says he gets to come back to Raw and do it in Springfield.  He says there is a lot of noise and energy.  The young fans might not know that he played football at Springfield College.  John says he was an offensive lineman.  You never get your name in the paper, you get your ass kicked every game, and you come back to get your ass kicked the next day.  He says Springfield College prepared him for WWE.  He says he has some teammates in the crowd.  He says his family is here.  He says he has a niece who couldn’t make it, but he will see her this weekend and he wishes her a happy birthday.  John thanks Alicia for his introduction.  He says it has evolved into a chance for all of you to show your energy and share a final moment.  

John says he needs that moment because he has a pretty tall hill to climb.  There are some words you said in the introduction that meant something to him.  You say ‘the last real Champion’.  Brock wants to end him.  Brock is intimidating and controversial.  He is damn near invincible.  He says tonight he is going to talk to Brock.  Upon his return to WWE, he makes a target out of him, attacks him, and challenges him to a match.  Cena says he has had matches with Brock before.  They are some of the toughest challenges he has faced.  Why would he not say no after what Brock did to him?  If he says no, he can keep his health.  He can lean into some backstage politics and say he has been here for 23 years so do him a favor.  Saying no might be smart since he only has six more appearances.  Saying no is safe.  Saying no is easy.

He says yes because of the crowd and he says he is the last real champion.  He has never fought one battle in the back.  He does it in front of this audience.  The last real champion is not about wearing a belt or being in the main event or being on top.  It is about making the place better when he leaves it.  This is a chance to make magic so you give all that you have.  Is John afraid of Brock Lesnar?  Yes he is.  Could he fail?  Yes, he could.  Will he back down and give up?  Hell no.  We will take the fight to the beast because that is what we do.  Listen to the energy.  Saturday, in a history making event, The Beast against The Last Real Champion.  It is a final showdown of two generational titans.  He doesn’t give a damn how many suplexes are in your city because he has been taking them for twenty years and he is still here.

He tells Brock he is ready for war and if you want some, come get some.

Backstage:

Pearce is with Jey and Knight in OFFICE.  Pearce wants it to make sense. Knight does not care what Jey is doing on Saturday. They talk at the same time and Adam stops them.  He says this week cannot get messed up, so he wants to know what is happening. Knight says he wants a piece of Bron and Bronson. Pearce says it is done but who is he teaming with? Knight says Jimmy Uso. Jey says that isn’t happening and Knight says he wants it.

Lyra Valkyria vs. Roxanne Perez (with Raquel Rodriguez)

They lock up and Perez backs Lyra into the corner but Lyra with a take down as they hold on to the lock up.  They continue to roll around the ring until they go to a stalemate.  Lyra with a waist lock take down and a snap mare.  Perez with a head scissors and Lyra escapes.  Perez goes for an arm bar and turns it into a La Magistral for a near fall.  Perez with a waist lock and Lyra with a back elbow and she slides through the legs and gets a rollup and a Backlund Bridge for a near fall.  Perez with a knee and side head lock.  Perez with a knee to the back when Lyra anticipates where Perez will be.  Perez with an Irish whip and Lyra floats over and connects with a leg sweep and drop kick.  Lyra with a cross body for a near fall.  Raquel trips Lyra and the referee sends Raquel to the back.  Raquel gets on the apron while Perez rolls up Lyra and the referee is late to make the count.  Lyra sends Perez to the floor and hits a drop kick through the ropes.  

Lyra goes up top and she pulls Lyra off the turnbuckles and Lyra hits the turnbuckles.  Perez with screeching forearms to Lyra.  Perez chokes Lyra in the ropes.  Perez puts Lyra on the bottom rope and Perez stands on the back and connects with a boot to the back for a near fall.  Perez with a hard Irish whip.  Lyra with forearms and Perez with a forearm to the back.  Perez puts Lyra into the ropes and hits a corkscrew back elbow to the back.  Perez walks across the back and she hits a double jump moonsault onto the back for a near fall.  Perez sets for a suplex but Lyra blocks it.  Lyra with a back drop to Perez.  Lyra with clotheslines and a series of kicks.  Lyra with a Northern Lights suplex and she rolls through for a fisherman’s suplex but Perez blocks it.

Lyra with a jackknife cover for a near fall.  Perez gets a near fall.  Lyra with a Doctor Bomb for a near fall.  Perez rolls to the apron when Lyra goes up top.  Lyra tries to superplex Perez back into the ring.  Perez goes up top and hits a Frankensteiner and Scorpio Rising for a near fall.  Perez with a crossface and Lyra with a rollup but Perez holds on.  Lyra with Night Wing for the three count.

Winner:  Lyra Valkyria

After the match, Raquel hits Lyra from behind as Lyra goes up the aisle.  Raquel sends Lyra back into the ring and she connects with a boot to the head.  Raquel holds Lyra for a back heel kick and Pop Rox.  

Bayley’s music plays and she makes her way tot he ring and she connects with forearms to Raquel and then Perez.  Bayley with a Saito suplex.  Bayley with Stundog Millionaire to counter a suplex from Raquel.  Bayley sends Raquel shoulder first into the ring post.  Bayley with an elbow into the corner and a belly-to-belly suplex.

Bayley sees Lyra in the ring and Bayley tries to keep the voices out of her head but she leaves the ring to hug Joe and Corey.

Lyra is confused while looking at Bayley hugging Alicia and Jessika.  She even hugs a few fans.

Backstage:

Adam has the signed contract between Iyo and Stephanie. Stephanie says she respects Iyo and she says may the best woman win. Iyo says she would wish the same but she will win.

Asuka and Kairi (as is tradition), enter the room.  Asuka says nobody is ready for Iyo. Stephanie tells Asuka to get out. Asuka says that if Stephanie thinks she is so good, she can face Kairi. Stephanie accepts the match.

Backstage:

Jimmy is in LOCKER ROOM and LA Knight enters. Knight says he has a tag match against Bron and Bronson.  Knight says he gets to choose a partner and he chose Jimmy. Jimmy says that might not be the right thing. Knight says he can trust Jimmy after last week. Jimmy says Knight wants revenge and Jimmy says him and Jey face them on Saturday.  He tells Knight to find a different partner.

In the Arena:

It is time for Interstitial Promo Champions The New Day and Grayson Waller to speak.

Grayson Waller says they have all of these signatures on the petition and Pearce has done nothing.  Waller says he got three staples in his head and Pearce has done nothing.  Woods says he had surgery due to the Destroyer.  He traveled to see his boy Kofi.  Kofi says he is the home town boy, but he is from the other side of the state.  He was in a match three days ago and he should not be here.  The bald head tyrant has forced him here against his will.  Kofi says he is strong, resiliant, and a survivor.  You should be thankful for him.

Kofi Kingston vs. Penta

Kofi goes to the floor when the bell rings and Penta chases Kofi.  Kofi misses a clothesline and Penta with a thrust kick and a flip dive onto Kofi.  Penta sends Kofi back into the ring and he goes for a springboard move but Kofi stops him with a drop kick.  Penta chops Waller when he gets in his face.  Kofi with a kick from the apron followed by Shadows Over Hell.  Kofi sends Penta into the apron and over the ringside barrier into the crowd.  Kofi with a punch and he brings Penta back over the ringside barrier.  Kofi with a forearm and he sends Penta into the ring post.  Kofi goes up top and hits a double sledge to the back of the neck for a near fall.  Kofi with punches to Penta.  Kofi kicks Penta in the head and chokes him.  Kofi ties the mask to the ropes and Kofi with kicks.  Kofi with more kicks to Penta.

Kofi gets a near fall.  Kofi with a reverse chin lock.  Kofi with a knee to the midsection and Penta floats over.  Penta avoids a clothesline and hits a head scissors take down.  Penta with a thrust kick to the upper chest followed by another kick.  Penta with a hesitation headstand kick to Kofi for a near fall.  Penta with a chop.  Kofi blocks a Penta Driver and he pulls at the mask and hits SOS for a near fall.  Penta with an Irish whip and Kofi goes to the apron and he goes up top and misses when Penta moves.  Penta and Kofi exchange kicks and knees.  Penta sets for a Destroyer but Woods gets on the apron.  Penta with a back heel kick to Waller when he tries to interfere.  Kofi with a rollup for a near fall.  Penta 

Penta with a springboard Destroyer for the three count.

Winner:  Penta

Backstage:

Jey is on the phone and Jimmy shows up and he asks who he was talking to. Jey tells Jimmy that LA Knight is going to try to get him to be his tag partner and he HAS to say no. Jimmy is not happy that he is telling him what to do. Jey reminds them about the match on Saturday. Jimmy says he told Knight that he won’t tag with him but he won’t take any orders from Jey.  Jimmy says there ain’t no ula fala around his neck.

– Jimmy is walking in the back and he asks LA Knight if he is still looking for a partner. Knight says he doesn’t want to put him in a bad position. Jimmy says he is in.

In the Arena:

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch make their way to the ring.

Seth says he was going to say the name of your stupid little town, but you want to act like that (chant for CM Punk) so he is going to ignore you.  Instead, he will address the viewing audience on Netflix.  Seth reminds us who he is.  Seth says he gets the honor and privilege to introduce the Intercontinental Champion.  

Becky says she has a lot to say about AJ Lee, but she won’t talk to people behind their back.  She says she isn’t CM Punk.

AJ’s music interrupts and she makes her way to the ring with CM Punk.

Punk says hello to everyone.  He says he is AJ’s husband.  He is not going to waste anyone’s time with a long winded introduction as to who she is.  He says they came to see her and they know her name. Punk wants to know who the team leader is.  He addresses Becky and says he has made a career on telling people to their face.  He is overwhelmed about what to say about  you two goofs.

Seth tells the people they wouldn’t know style if it punched you in the face.

Punk says you brag about yourselves but you cannot share the spotlight.  We had to listen to two crappy songs while he has no problem putting Cult of Personality on the shelf and let this lady Light it Up.  You share a brain cell and a wardrobe, but can you share the spotlight or will Saturday be easy for you?  Will you be a happily married tag team or will you let your egos get in the way?

Seth says Punk wants to talk about egos, but you are the most selfish human being he has ever met.  Seth says he is going to do something selfless that will make everyone happy.  Seth says he is going to give CM Punk credit.  This is the best decision you have ever made in your entire life (as he points at AJ).  In your personal life.  As far as business is concerned, inserting her into this is a mistake you will regret for the rest of your days.

AJ says that mistake was yours because she says she wouldn’t be here if you didn’t use your wife as a human shield.

Becky says no one expected you to come back.  You were gone for ten years.  She can’t believe how irresponsible of you CM Punk.  You say you only care about CM Punk, the World Title, and AJ.  Becky says she read her book and she has some notes.  You talked about how you healed mentally, but how are you physically?  How is your neck?  You got into a blood feud over a bracelet with your wife’s name on it.  How will you feel when she pummels your wife’s face.  She tells AJ she isn’t an asset, she is a liability.

AJ thanks Becky for reading her book because she didn’t read Becky’s.  AJ says Becky is right and she made a good point.  She doesn’t know how her neck will hold up. She says it has been ten years since she took a bump in the ring and she doesn’t know what will happen.  She didn’t know what would happen on Smackdown two weeks ago.  It is not her neck you should be worried about.  AJ says she won two titles on this neck.  AJ says you should be worried about the fact that AJ doesn’t know what she will do next.  She is erratic and she has made irrational decisions.  She is a Puerto Rican from New Jersey and she may have shanked a chick.  Seth, you made a plan and used your wife as a back up plan.  You cannot plan for what you cannot predict.  

Seth cackles and he asks AJ if she thinks he cannot handle her.  

Seth cackles and he asks AJ if she thinks he cannot handle her.  Seth tells the little girl you’re not wrong.  He might not be able to predict you, but he can read your husband like a book.  Seth says something she may not know or want to believe about your husband.  He has a nasty habit of leaving when things let him down.  Seth says when his wife rips you into shreds, you better hope to God that he doesn’t leave you too.

AJ slaps Seth.  

Seth says he never put his hands on a lady.  Thankfully, he has someone who will.

Seth looks for Becky to do something and Becky stands there and she says something to Seth.

Punk and AJ look at the Bickersons and Becky leaves the ring.  Seth wants to know what she is doing as she goes up the aisle.  Becky says that Seth caused this.

Seth pie faces Punk and they go around the ring.  Meanwhile, Becky gives AJ a uranage.  Becky slaps Punk.  

– We take a look at World’s Collide.

Backstage:

Byron Saxton is with Dominik Mysterio. He asks about El Grande Americano. Dom calls Byron ‘sweetheart’ and he tells him not to worry.  He is the Mega Intercontinental Champion. Byron asks about the Judgment Day and there is a commotion.

Somewhere else, we see Woods standing over Penta with a chair. Erik and Ivar show up to check on Penta.

El Grande Americano vs. Dragon Lee

Lee with a drop kick as the bell rings and he punches Grande.  Grande with a jumping side kick and punches.  Lee with a head scissors and a kick followed by a leg sweep.  Grande catches Lee and hits a cutter for a near fall. Lee with punches.  Grande catches Lee and hits a rolling Death Valley Driver followed by a kick.  Lee with punches but Grande with a chop and he chokes Lee.  Grande is sent to the apron and Grande tries to send Lee into the turnbuckles but he blocks it.  Lee with a kick and a leaping head scissors take down off the apron to the floor.  Grande rests on the announce table and Lee witwh a suicide dive when Grande gets back up.

Lee gets a near fall.  Grande with kicks in the corner.  Grande with a hesitation drop kick to send Lee to the floor.  Grande with a drop kick to the temple when Lee gets back into the ring.  Grande puts Lee in the ropes and he ties Lee to the ropes.  Grande with kicks.  Grande with a kick.  Grande has Lee in the ropes and he goes for the mask.  Lee with a German suplex and a thrust kick.  Grande with a chop and Lee fires back.  They go back and forth and it sounds like the Fourth of July.  Lee with a jumping knee and he floats over into a Liger Bomb for a near fall.  Lee kicks Grande and Grande is caught in the tree of woe.  Lee with a double stomp for a near fall.  Lee goes for the mask and the referee pulls Lee away.  PequenoGrande hits Lee and Grande gets a near fall.  

AJ Styles makes his way to the ring and he gets PequenoGrande from under the ring and PequenoGrande is sent into the crowd.  The referee warns AJ.  MasPequenoGrande hits a rana off the ringside barrier on AJ.   PequenoGrande pushes Lee off the turnbuckels and Grande forces Lee to tap out.

Winner:  El rande Amricano

After the match, we get the Spiderman meme.

Backstage:

Bayley is in her locker room and she is yelling at herself about the situation.  Lyra knocks on the door and Bayley is in there by herself.

Lyra asks who Bayley was talking to and then she moves on to the next question.  She thanks Bayley for helping her. Bayley thanks Lyra for showing her that idiots still exist.  You barged right in.  What if she was changing or had company..  She tells the idiot to get out of her locker room, and Bayley leaves.

Backstage:

Rhea Ripley goes over to Stephanie in Gorilla.  She says if it is her or Iyo who wins this weekend, she is coming for you.  She wishes Stephanie good luck. Stephanie says she is ready.

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Kairi Sane

They lock up and Vaquer with a clean break.  They go for a test of strength and Vaquer with a wrist lock and rear chin lock.  Sane with a wrist lock and Vaquer with a take down.  Sane with a front face lock and body scissors.  Vaquer with forearms to escape.  Vaquer with a waist lock take down.  Vaquer with a side head lock take down and Sane with a head scissors.  Both go for drop kicks at the same time.  Sane offers her hand and Vaquer shakes it.  Asuka yells at Sane for the hand shake and she misses a back fist.  Sane with a slingshot head scissors take down and drop kick.  Sane with a flying forearm and she gets a near fall.  Vaquer rolls to the apron and Sane slides between the legs and tries for a power bomb but Vaquer holds on to the ropes and hits a double knee drop.

Asuka has some words for Vaquer before Vaquer sends Sane back into the ring.  Vaquer and Asuka stare each other down before Vaquer returns to the ring.  Vaquer with a snap mare and boots to the eyes followed by a leg drop for a near fall.  Vaquer with head butts in he corner.  Vaquer with a suplex and a rear chin lock and then she turns it into a dragon sleeper.  Vaquer with a head butt and an Iris hwhip.  Sane with a boot from the turnbuckles and she applies a head scissors in the ropes.  Sane with a kick to the back and punches.  Sane with a chop.  Sane with another chop.  Sane gets a near fall.  Sane with a reverse chin lock.  Sane with an Iris hwhip and Sane tries for an elbow but Vaquer blocks it.  Vaquer with a drop kick and a running double knee strike in the corner.  Vaquer sets for SVB but Sane escapes and hits a forearm.  Sane with double sledges.

Sane blocks a kick and connects with a forearm and blockbuster.  Sane with a Sliding D into the corner and she goes up top and misses a forearm.  Vaquer with a DDT for a near fall.  Vaquer sets up for Devil’s Kiss but Sane with a victory roll for a near fall.  Vaquer goes for a suplex but Sane counters into a DDT.  Sane goes up top for the elbow drop but Vaquer stops Sane and chops her.  Vaquer with head butts and Sane with a forearm.  Vaquer is put in the tree of woe and Sane hits a double stomp for a near fall.  Vaquer goes for the SVB but Sane escapes.  Sane with two back fists and Vaquer with head butts.  Vaquer runs into boots but Vaquer blocks it and htis a dragon screw.  Sane goes to the floor and Asuka checks on her.  Vaquer goes up top  and hits a cross body onto Sane and Asuka.  

Vaquer sends Sane back into the ring and Vaquer sets for the Devil’s Kiss and hits it.  Vaquer hits the butterfly face buster for the three count.

Winner:  Stephanie Vaquer

After the match, Asuka gets on the apron and Iyo Sky comes to the ring to keep Stephanie and Asuka separated. Asuka and Iyo yell at each other.  Iyo tries to calm Asuka down and Asuka leaves the ring. Iyo turns around and she offers her hand to Stephanie and Stephanie shakes it.

We Hear from Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed says he will give Jimmy and Jey their due as one of the best tag teams.  He says they will give you a taste of what will happen on Saturday.  Do you understand the destruction that Bron is capable of.  LA Knight and Jimmy Uso will find out what happens when the dog if off the leash.  Bron says after they run through Knight and your brother, what is going to happen?  The Usos are going to come to an end.  You will see what your cousin learned.

• Byron Saxton is with El Grand Americano on the concourse. Byron congratulates him on the win and he asks him how did it feel Grande says he does not understand and he calls Byron stupid and has a German accent.  Byron asks about his relationship with Dom and Los Otros Americanos. Grande tells Byron to talk to the hand and he leaves.

Backstage:

Asuka, Iyo, and Kairi all scream at the same time.  Iyo tells Asuka that she needs to do this buy herself.  She says she needs to do it on her own, like Asuka did. Asuka yells again and tells Iyo fine and says other stuff in Japanese. Kairi stays by Iyo and Asuka yells for her.

Cody Rhodes will be on Smackdown this week.

Backstage:

The Judgment Day have their celebration for Dom’s victory on Friday night. Dom says it is like being the champion but twice as good.  Finn tells Dom to put the brakes on the celebration.  She says Roxy and Raquel have had a tough night.  Finn brings up El Grande Americano.  He reminds Dom that he is part of Judgment Day. JD says they want to know what does Grande expect in return. Dom asks if it is crazy that Grande wants to be around him. Finn tells Dom not to look at them for help. Rusev shows up and he introduces himself to Dom but Dom says his hands are full.  Rusev says he is the next Intercontinental Champion.

Jimmy Uso and LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

Bron and Uso start things off.  They lock up and Bron with a side head lock and a shoulder tackle.  Bron with a waist lock take down and shoulders in the corner.  Uso slides into the corner on an Irish whip and he chops Bron. Uso with another chop.  Uso with a leaping back elbow but Bron with a clothesline.  Reed tags in and he kicks Uso in the corner.  Reed with a head butt.  Reed with an Irish whip and he gets Uso up but Uso with a elbow to escape.  Uso with a dragon whip and Knight tags in.  Knight with punches.  Knight with a kick and he tries for a splex but Reed blocks it.  Knight lands on his feet on a suplex attempt.  Reed with an elbow and Reed misses a splash into the corner.  Knight with kicks and a running hip into teh corner.  Uso with one of his own.  Uso and Knight clothelsine Bron over the top rope to the floor.  

Uso with punches and chops to Reed but Reed with a head butt and forearm to the back.  Reed runs into an uppercut but Bron clotheslines Uso from the apron when the referee was not looking.  Reed chokes Uso in the ropes.  Bron chokes Uso in the ropes.  Bron with a moonsault for a near fall.  Bron with a reverse chin lock and he pulls Uso to the mat before he tags Reed back into the match.  Reed works on the neck.  Reed with a head butt.  Reed with an elbow to Uso and Bron tags in.  Bron with a belly-to-back suplex after he taunts Knight and Uso.  Bron with a cover and push ups.  Bron puts Uso on the turnbuckles and Bron sets for a superplex but Uso head butts Bron to the mat.  Bron stops Uso from making the tag.  Bron with an exploder and he tags Reed back in.  Reed with a slam and he measures Uso up for a back senton but Uso moves and Reed misses.  Uso with a punch and boot to Reed.  Uso with Whisper in the Wind and both men are down.  

Knight tags in and he clotheslines Reed and Bron.  Knight with a jumping neck breaker to Bron.  Knight with an elbow to Bron and a punch to Reed.  Bron with a jumping knee and Reed tags in.  Bron sets for a power bomb but Knight escapes and he hits a few clotheslines but they have no effect.  Reed catches Knight but Knight counters into a Zig Zag.  Knight with the Catchphrase Elbow drop and Uso tags in and hits the frog splash but Bron breaks up the cover.  Knight with a Foley clothesline to Bron and they go to the floor.  Uso sends Reed to the floor and hits a suicide dive.  Uso goes for another one but Reed with a forearm.  Knight with a clothesline off the steps to Reed.  Knight sends Reed back into the ring and Uso with a super kick and spear.  Uso goes up top while Bron hits a flying shoulder tackle on Knight.  Bron crotches Uso and Reed with a Death Valley Driver for the three count.

Winners:  Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

After the match, Reed kicks Uso and Bron hits the WARP spear.  

They set for a Tsunami and Jey’s music plays and he comes to the ring with a chair.

Jey hits Bron in the ribs and back with the chair.  Reed punches at the chair and Jey misses.  Jey with punches and a spit punch that sends Reed into the ropes.  Jey hits Reed with the midsection and back with the chair.  

Jey checks on Jimmy and Knight grabs the chair and he is holding it when Jey turns around.

We have a staredown and Knight drops the chair.  

Jey offers his hand and Knight shakes it.

Jey turns around and Knight with a kick and BFT.

We go to credits.

9/15 WWE RAW Preview

AJ Lee & CM Punk vs. Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins – Face-to-Face Segment Before their mixed tag team clash this Saturday, AJ Lee and CM Punk will confront Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins in the ring. Last week, Lee baited Rollins into accepting the match by stealing Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship after Rollins interfered in their verbal exchange. With tensions boiling, tonight’s face-off could get physical.

Roxanne Perez vs. Lyra Valkyria After falling short in mixed tag action at Worlds Collide, Roxanne Perez looks to bounce back against Lyra Valkyria. Valkyria herself is coming off a loss to Perez’s Judgment Day ally Raquel Rodriguez, making this bout a chance for both women to regain momentum.

Dragon Lee vs. El Grande Americano Following a chaotic Fatal Four-Way at Worlds Collide where Dragon Lee failed to capture the AAA Latin American Championship, he now faces El Grande Americano, who controversially aided Dominik Mysterio in winning the AAA Mega Championship. Expect high-flying intensity and lingering resentment.
