- TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Alex Windsor
- Hangman Adam Page, Kenny Omega, Kevin Knight & ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey vs. Josh Alexander, Kyle Fletcher, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson
9/3 AEW Dynamite Preview
Mercedes Moné will defend the TBS Championship against Alex Windsor in a singles showdown. Moné retained her title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on August 24 in a Four-Way Match against Windsor, STARDOM’s Bozilla, and CMLL’s Persephone. The bad blood between Moné and Windsor has only grown in recent weeks, with Moné mocking her challenger during last Wednesday’s championship celebration. Tonight, Windsor gets another shot to dethrone the champion.
In the main event, Kenny Omega and AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page reunite as tag partners for the first time since AEW All In 2023. The two will team with JetSpeed (Leon Slater & Mike Bailey) to battle The Young Bucks and Don Callis Family members Josh Alexander and TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher. Tensions have been building since Don Callis interrupted Page during his face-to-face with MJF last week, making it clear that his faction is coming for the AEW World Championship. The segment quickly erupted into an all-out brawl involving Page, Omega, JetSpeed, Alexander, and the rest of the Callis Family. Tonight’s eight-man tag match promises fireworks as the rivalries escalate.
