WWE RAW – “Stranger Things” Crossover Set for January 5 – WWE is gearing up for one of its most unique crossovers yet, as Monday Night RAW prepares to collide with Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things in less than two weeks.
Reports surfaced last week that a promotional crossover between WWE and Stranger Things was in the works, though details were limited at the time. Now, Netflix has officially confirmed that the crossover will take place on January 5, aligning with the first RAW of 2026 — a special episode celebrating the one‑year anniversary of RAW’s move to Netflix.
Netflix promoted the event on social media with the message:
“THE WWE GETS STRANGER. January 5 LIVE only on Netflix at 8 PM ET | 5 PM PT #WWERaw”
The January 5 broadcast will air live from Brooklyn, New York, and WWE is stacking the card with multiple championship matches. The show will be headlined by a World Heavyweight Championship bout, with CM Punk defending the title against Bron Breakker. Two additional title matches are also confirmed for the anniversary episode:
- Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Maxxine Dupri (c) vs. Becky Lynch
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Asuka & Kairi Sane (c) vs. Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY
The crossover comes at a major moment for Stranger Things, which remains one of Netflix’s most successful original series. The show is currently rolling out its final season, with new episodes dropping on Christmas Day and the concluding batch set for release on New Year’s Eve.
The official series description reads:
“In 1980s Indiana, a group of young friends witness supernatural forces and secret government exploits. As they search for answers, the children unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries.”
With WWE and Netflix now fully intertwined, the January 5 episode promises to blend the worlds of sports entertainment and supernatural sci‑fi in a way fans have never seen before.
