WWE RAW Preview for January 13 From Düsseldorf Germany – Tonight’s episode of WWE RAW airs live from the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany, with a special start time of 2 p.m. EST and 11 a.m. PST on Netflix. The international setting brings a stacked lineup, headlined by a first-ever singles meeting that has quickly become one of the most talked-about matches of the night.
“The Ring General” Gunther goes one-on-one with AJ Styles in a true dream match. The bout was set in motion last week after Styles confronted Gunther following a controversial promo. Gunther bragged about forcing John Cena to tap out in what was billed as Cena’s retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, referring to the WWE legend in dismissive terms. Styles responded by slapping Gunther in the face, making it clear he would not tolerate the disrespect. Tonight marks their first singles encounter, with pride, legacy, and momentum all on the line.
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is also scheduled to address the crowd in Düsseldorf. Punk retained his title last week in a hard-fought main event against Bron Breakker, overcoming interference from The Vision before finishing the match with a decisive GTS. With the Royal Rumble approaching, Punk is expected to outline what lies ahead for his reign and who may be next in line to challenge him.
The show is set to open with the newly crowned WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Now known as “RhIYO,” the duo captured the titles last week by defeating the Kabuki Warriors. They will take a victory lap and potentially begin scouting their first challengers as champions.
Raquel Rodriguez is also slated to explain her recent attack on Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. In storyline, Rodriguez targeted Vaquer’s injured ankle with a steel chair and followed up with a Tejana Bomb, leaving serious questions surrounding the champion’s status moving forward.
In tag team action, Austin Theory and Bronson Reed of The Vision will face Penta and Dragon Lee. The match follows last week’s chaotic main event, where Penta and Dragon Lee assisted CM Punk and Rey Mysterio in fending off Bron Breakker’s allies.
Additional appearances are expected from Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, and World Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso. Lynch won her title last week against Maxxine Dupri, while The Usos continue inviting challengers to step into the “Uso Penitentiary.”
