WWE 2K26 CM Punk Showcase Details – A new Ringside Report video for WWE 2K26 has been released, offering a closer look at CM Punk’s Showcase mode and several gameplay updates. The mode is centered on this year’s cover star and highlights key moments from his WWE career along with select dream matches.
Unlike last year’s Bloodline Showcase, which was narrated by Paul Heyman, this edition will feature CM Punk himself guiding players through the experience. The showcase focuses on major matches from different points in his run, along with more recent appearances and headline bouts.
The trailer and report confirmed several matches included in the mode. These bouts span multiple years and events, presenting a mix of championship moments and major rivalries. Confirmed matches include:
- CM Punk vs. JBL (SummerSlam 2008)
- CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio (Armageddon 2008)
- CM Punk vs. Randy Orton (WrestleMania 27)
- CM Punk vs. John Cena (RAW, Feb. 25, 2013)
- CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar (SummerSlam 2013)
- CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre (Bad Blood 2024)
- CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins (WWE RAW Netflix debut)
- CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 41)
Punk confirmed that the showcase begins with his WrestleMania 41 main event appearance in the triple threat match against Rollins and Reigns.
WWE 2K26 ‘What If’
The mode also includes three “What if” matches that never happened in WWE. These dream scenarios feature CM Punk vs. Eddie Guerrero, CM Punk vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, and a mixed tag team match with CM Punk and AJ Lee facing The Miz and Maryse. These additions explore matchups that could have taken place if Punk had remained with the company after 2014.
More matches are expected to be revealed as the game’s launch approaches, as past Showcase modes have featured a wider list of bouts.
WWE 2K26 ‘Gauntlet Mode’
The Ringside Report also introduced a new gameplay feature called Gauntlet mode. This mode allows players to unlock rewards without completing every Showcase match. In Gauntlet mode, players take part in a 20-man challenge where they must defeat opponents one after another. Completing the gauntlet unlocks rewards and additional content tied to the Showcase. Players can choose either CM Punk or AJ Lee for this mode.
WWE 2K26 is scheduled to launch on March 13, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
