Reason Behind NXT Stand & Deliver 2026’s Schedule Change – As noted, NXT Stand & Deliver will no longer be part of WrestleMania week in 2026. WWE confirmed that the event will take place on Saturday, April 4, at The Factory at The District in St. Louis.
According to PWInsider, the decision was made in part because the show may perform better as a standalone event rather than being one of several major broadcasts during WrestleMania week. The report also noted that the change reduces the workload on WWE’s production team. In previous years, the crew was responsible for producing SmackDown, the Hall of Fame ceremony, and NXT within a 24-hour window before returning for night one of WrestleMania 42.
BodySlam added that last year’s WrestleMania week schedule in Las Vegas created significant strain for both talent and staff. One major issue was a 5 a.m. local call time for Stand & Deliver, which contributed to what was described as a difficult week behind the scenes.
Both outlets reported that this shift is not expected to be permanent. WWE is said to be evaluating Stand & Deliver’s placement on a yearly basis, depending on the host city and overall WrestleMania plans.
For the 2026 event, WWE is currently promoting appearances from Joe Hendry, who holds the NXT Championship, Jacy Jayne, the NXT Women’s Champion, Myles Borne, the NXT North American Champion, and Izzi Dame, the NXT Women’s North American Champion.
WWE will monitor how the standalone format performs in St. Louis before determining how the event is scheduled in future years.
