Logan Paul is officially headed to the Elimination Chamber following a chaotic night on WWE SmackDown.
Before the February 27 broadcast began, Jey Uso was attacked backstage by an unknown assailant. WWE later confirmed that Uso was transported to a local medical facility. As a result, his scheduled spot inside the Men’s Elimination Chamber became vacant.
The Vision quickly attempted to capitalize on the situation. The group approached General Manager Nick Aldis and requested that Logan Paul be added to the Chamber match. Aldis stated that he would consider the request. Later in the show, Jacob Fatu also made his case for inclusion in the bout.
Aldis then announced a last-minute Elimination Chamber qualifying match between Logan Paul and Jacob Fatu to determine who would take the open position.
During the contest, the action took a strange turn when a masked individual appeared at ringside and attacked Austin Theory, who was standing near the ring. Paul confronted the masked man and pulled off the mask, revealing an unknown individual. The distraction added more confusion to an already tense situation.
The match resumed, and Fatu appeared close to victory. As he prepared to hit the Mighty Moonsault, Drew McIntyre interfered and struck Fatu with the Undisputed WWE Championship. The impact left Fatu vulnerable. Paul capitalized on the opening and secured the pinfall.
With the victory, Logan Paul has officially earned his place in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. The updated lineup now includes Paul, while questions remain about who attacked Jey Uso earlier in the night.
