LA Knight entered the men’s Elimination Chamber match hoping to secure a spot at WrestleMania 42, but that opportunity slipped away after he was eliminated by Logan Paul. With the Premium Live Event now behind him, Knight says he still has no idea what WWE has planned for him heading into the company’s biggest show of the year.
During an appearance on The Coach’s Corner, Knight was asked directly about his status for WrestleMania 42. Rather than hinting at a possible storyline direction, he admitted that he currently has no information about where he will fit on the card.
“Don’t worry about the details because I don’t have any. I know about as much as you know. People find that hard to believe, but honestly that’s just wrestling.”
Knight explained that uncertainty like this is not unusual in the wrestling business. According to him, performers often do not receive full details about creative plans until very late in the process, even when major events are approaching.
With WrestleMania 42 set to take place in Las Vegas, Knight acknowledged that he would prefer to have a clearer idea of what lies ahead. For now, however, he is simply waiting to see how things develop.
“When I came up in wrestling, a lot of the time I would go to a show and I hadn’t even met my opponent before. I’d meet them two or three hours before showtime and that’s when we’d start figuring everything out. So with that being the case, I don’t know much right now. I’d like to know more, but I don’t.”
Even without confirmed plans, Knight remains enthusiastic about the atmosphere surrounding WrestleMania week. The event will bring fans from around the world to Las Vegas, creating the type of environment that makes the show a major spectacle every year.
Knight also noted that the city holds personal significance for him due to the years he spent living nearby in Los Angeles earlier in his career.
“All I know is it’s going to be a gigantic week like it always is. It’s going to be a huge success. You’re talking about people coming from all corners of the world to Las Vegas for what is basically our big bash. I’m just looking forward to the whole environment and everything that comes with that week and weekend. And I always love going to Vegas… it always has a special place in my heart.”
Despite rumors of a match against Brock Lesnar, Knight still has no confirmed direction as WrestleMania 42 approaches.
