Rhea Ripley to Jade Cargill: "Your Body Is Built for Show, Mine Is Built for Fighting"

A heated face-to-face confrontation between Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill took place on the March 6 episode of SmackDown, as the two WWE Superstars exchanged strong words while building momentum toward their upcoming WrestleMania showdown. The segment ended with both women confidently declaring themselves to be “that bitch,” further raising the intensity surrounding their expected title match.

The exchange began with Jade Cargill addressing the handshake she previously offered Ripley. According to Cargill, the gesture was meant as a sign of respect for several reasons. However, she made it clear that admiration does not mean intimidation.

“I gave you that handshake out of respect — respect for your accomplishments, respect for how much the people love you, respect for the fact that I’m facing you at WrestleMania, and respect for the work you put in at the gym. But I’m not impressed. Your arms are big, but mine are bigger. Your legs are powerful, but mine are more powerful. I am more worthy of being WWE Women’s Champion, and I’m going to beat the hell out of you. I’m that bitch.”

After delivering the statement, Cargill dropped the microphone. Ripley then extended her hand once again, and Cargill accepted the handshake before Ripley responded with her own message.

Ripley acknowledged Cargill’s honesty and admitted she understood how her opponent viewed her physically. At the same time, Ripley explained that she also recognizes Cargill’s impressive physique. However, she questioned whether raw size would actually determine the outcome when they eventually collide in the ring.

“I respect your honesty. I know what you think of me, and maybe I don’t impress you physically — but you impress me physically. Maybe your shoulders are bigger. Maybe your arms are too. Maybe your legs. Maybe even your hand. But if you hit me with your best shot, do you really think I’m going to go down and stay down?”

Ripley then laughed before answering her own question.

“Absolutely not. But if I hit you with mine, there’s no way you’re getting back up.”

Ripley continued by explaining what she believes separates the two competitors.

“The difference between us is simple: your body is built for show. Mine is built for fighting. You work out to look aesthetically pleasing. I work out to survive and thrive in this business. You can flex all you want — I’m going to fight. I’m going to take that title, and I’m going to take it with force, and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it… because I’m that bitch.”

Ripley then dropped the microphone, ending the intense confrontation as both competitors stood their ground heading toward WrestleMania.
