WrestleMania 42 promotional graphics have reportedly become a source of frustration within WWE as the company prepares for its biggest event of the year. According to a new report, the team responsible for designing the event’s visual identity has faced repeated changes to the creative direction, forcing them to constantly revise promotional materials.

A report from WrestleVotes Radio noted that those working on WrestleMania 42 promotional graphics have struggled with a lack of clear direction from leadership. One source explained that the overall creative vision for the event has not been fully defined, leading to frequent requests for new concepts and design adjustments.

The original promotional idea reportedly centered around a “high-end, classy vibe.” Early WrestleMania teasers reflected that theme, presenting the show with a polished and upscale presentation. However, since those materials were first released, the direction for WrestleMania 42 promotional graphics has reportedly shifted multiple times.

As a result, staff members working on the visuals have had to repeatedly modify and recreate elements connected to the show’s marketing campaign. The constant revisions have reportedly created tension behind the scenes as the event approaches.

These internal issues come at a time when WWE management is focused on improving ticket sales for the two-night event in Las Vegas. According to the same report, company leadership held a meeting involving several departments in February after internal projections showed ticket sales were trailing behind last year’s pace.

At that stage, approximately 36,000 tickets had been sold per night for WrestleMania 42. That figure was reportedly about 10,000 fewer per night compared to the numbers recorded at the same point in the buildup to WrestleMania 41.

In response, WWE leadership reportedly encouraged every department to contribute new ideas to help promote the event. The push for fresh concepts and a promotional “spark” may be one of the reasons the WrestleMania 42 promotional graphics have gone through several revisions.

Despite internal frustration, WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to take place on April 18 and April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Several championship matches have already been announced for the event.

The current lineup includes Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton. CM Punk is also set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns.

Two major women’s title matches are scheduled as well. Jade Cargill will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley, while Stephanie Vaquer is set to defend the Women’s World Championship against Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan.
