Breakker has been out of action since January after suffering a hernia during his last match at the Royal Rumble. The injury has kept him off WWE programming for close to two months during a key stretch leading into WrestleMania season.

His absence has been noticeable across WWE shows, including WWE RAW, where he had become a major presence. Prior to the injury, Breakker was positioned as one of the company’s top rising stars. He held the Intercontinental Championship before losing it to Penta and was involved in high-profile rivalries with Seth Rollins.
