TNA iMPACT Results – April 9, 2026

TNA iMPACT Results – April 9, 2026 – This week’s Impact opens from the Alario Center in Louisiana with Daria Rae and Santino Marella already arguing in the ring beside a TNA‑branded contract table. Marella tries to introduce Eddie Edwards, but Rae cuts him off. He tries again for Mike Santana — Rae cuts him off again. Classic chaos.

Edwards takes the mic first. He says he and Santana walked similar roads in TNA, but when things got tough, Edwards stayed while Santana left for “greener pastures.” Edwards stayed even when TNA “was being laughed at.” The crowd reacts. Edwards says the grass wasn’t greener in the shadow of the Inner Circle, and now Santana has come crawling back.

Santana fires back. Yes, he left — but he came back because his heart never left TNA. Edwards stayed because he was “comfortable and complacent.” Santana left to test himself. He says he turned down more money than Edwards will ever touch to return and rebuild TNA. Edwards may be the foundation, but Santana says he took a sledgehammer to that foundation to rebuild it stronger. He fights for the fans and his family.

Edwards tries to bait Santana by mentioning his daughter. Santana doesn’t bite — instead he flips it, saying Edwards’ wife left him for Moose. The crowd erupts. Cedric Alexander blindsides Santana, but Leon Slater sprints out to make the save. The babyfaces clear the ring, and Slater caps it off with a huge flip dive over the ringpost onto Edwards and Alexander.

AJ Francis Sends a Warning

A vignette airs with AJ Francis saying he rejected an offer from the Cleveland Browns to learn wrestling for free. He hates Nic Nemeth, who he says has stolen more opportunities from him than he can count. Francis attacked Nemeth at Sacrifice — and he vows to finish the job at Rebellion.

Dani Luna vs. Jada Stone

Tasha Steelz joins commentary.

Jada Stone opens hot with a rana sending Luna to the floor, then hits a dive. She gets distracted jawing with Steelz, and Luna makes her pay — smashing her from behind and destroying her with a powerbomb on the apron.

Luna stays in control, dropkicking Stone back to the floor and bending her arms backward in a surfboard. Steelz is rough on commentary, but Luna is vicious in the ring — bending Stone’s leg until her toes touch the back of her head, then locking in a torture rack. Stone escapes but runs straight into a big boot.

Stone dodges a corner dive and hits an enzuigiri. She follows with a split‑legged moonsault for two. Luna answers with a backbreaker into a sit‑out powerbomb for another near fall. Stone counters with a victory roll for two. Luna blasts her with a forearm. Stone sends Luna into the turnbuckles with a headscissors and then hits what looks like a Sky Twister Press for the win.

Winner: Jada Stone

After the match, Steelz laid out Stone with a clothesline from behind.

Injury Report:

  • Nic Nemeth is OUT, but expected to be cleared for Rebellion.
  • Tessa Blanchard is banged up, but cleared.
  • Jody Threat is banged up and OUT.
  • Matt Hardy is cleared, despite his ribs not being 100%.

Elijah Ambushed in the Graveyard

Elijah wanders through a New Orleans graveyard, guided by a young kid who leads him to his father’s grave — only for it to be a setup. Frankie Kazarian ambushes Elijah with a stone, leaving him laid out. Kazarian then stiffs the kid on his payoff and walks off. Cold‑blooded.

Taryn Terrell Addresses Her Hometown

Taryn Terrell comes out to a warm hometown reaction. She thanks her family and the fans for supporting her. She says her career didn’t end on her terms, and she’s watched TNA grow since she left. She saw Mickie James return to elevate the Knockouts Division — and then saw Ash trash Mickie’s name.

That brings out the Elegance Brand, who mock Terrell for trying to ride their success. The Concierge points out Terrell is alone — and the “Silva Screen” shows ODB and Mickie James laid out backstage. The Elegance Brand swarm Terrell 4‑on‑1, beating down security as well. Mr. Elegance slams Terrell, and the Knockouts Tag Champions hit Nip and Tuck to leave her flattened.

Santino Marella Finally Snaps

Santino Marella has had enough of Stacks and Arianna Grace. He slaps Stacks, sending both heels running into the women’s locker room. Santino hesitates — until Indi Hartwell pops her head in, gives the all‑clear, and they storm inside. Sounds of a brawl erupt behind the door. Eventually Santino and Hartwell emerge victorious… and Hartwell even recovers The Cobra for him.

Frankie Kazarian vs. BDE

Ryan Nemeth joins commentary and spends most of the match trashing his brother. Odd energy.

Kazarian outwrestles BDE early. BDE fires back with a lungblower and a middle‑rope blockbuster. He escapes the chickenwing and goes for a springboard cutter — but Kazarian catches him with a backstabber and immediately locks in the chickenwing for the submission.

Winner: Frankie Kazarian (3:32)

After the match, Nemeth attacks BDE. The lights go out. When they return, Elijah is in the ring, choking Kazarian with a towel before chasing him off.

Elayna Black vs. Myla Grace (w/ Harley Hudson)

Myla Grace makes her singles debut on Impact. The match feels rushed, like they’re trying to cram everything into four minutes. Grace hits a twisting suplex for a near fall. Elayna Black counters late and hits The Blackout — a jumping neckbreaker with minimal impact — to score the win.

Winner: Elayna Black

Gia Miller Interviewed Ricky Sosa

Gia Miller brings Ricky Sosa out for his official welcome to TNA Wrestling and asks him what he plans to pursue now that he’s arrived. Sosa barely gets a chance to speak before Eric Young interrupts, snatches the microphone, and labels him a “pretender” and a “wannabe,” insisting that he is forever and that everything in TNA flows through him. Young scolds the crowd for chanting “Bang! Bang! Sosa! Sosa!” and then blindsides Sosa with a sucker punch that sends the two spilling into the ring as the confrontation escalates.

Inside the ring, Sosa manages to counter a piledriver attempt with a backdrop and fires off two sharp running forearms in the corner, showing a flash of momentum. But as he pauses to celebrate, Young cuts him down with a stiff forearm and immediately plants him with a piledriver. Sosa sells the impact with a dramatic bounce, launching several feet off the mat and making the move look devastating.

Tessa in the Undead Realm

James Mitchell serves as Tessa’s “concierge” in the Undead Realm, guiding her through the bizarre landscape while Rosemary explains to Mara Sade that their mission is to collect sins. Allie suddenly appears—despite being dead—and Mila Moore wanders aimlessly through the fog‑filled corridors. Rosemary sends Allie and Sade on a strange side quest, while Victoria Crawford drifts through a hallway decorated with severed heads as distant screams echo and Rosemary casually listens to a radio.

Rosemary’s eyes turn pitch‑black as she communicates telepathically with Mila Moore, who is abruptly grabbed by Havoc. Meanwhile, Mitchell finishes singing “My Way” and reunites with Rosemary, who leads him toward Abyss. The segment ends on a surreal “To Be Continued…” that offers no clarity and seems designed to be as confusing as possible.

Order 4 and Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali appears in the crowd with Order 4 and makes it clear he has no intention of addressing the fans, choosing instead to speak directly to International Champion Trey Miguel. Miguel comes out, and Ali begins with a polite‑sounding apology for recent “misunderstandings,” including what happened to Jada Stone, before shifting into a pointed critique of the TNA audience. He accuses the fans of celebrating “second‑chance champions,” claiming every champion in TNA is someone who messed up and needed redemption, while he has never needed a second chance—no arrests, no scandals, no substance issues, not even a parking ticket.

Ali declares that he’ll never be champion in TNA because he’s too good for a company that embraces people with troubled pasts. Miguel grabs the microphone and calls him a scumbag, saying TNA welcomed him back because he treated the company like family. Ali fires back with a cold line about Miguel’s family “not being here anymore,” and although Miguel lands a sharp insult about “Tweetle Dee, Tweedle Dumb, Mutombo and Raggedy Anne,” Ali dominates most of the exchange.

Ali orders Order 4 to leave so he can face Miguel one‑on‑one, but the moment Miguel gains momentum, the group swarms him. Agent Zero sets up a chokeslam, only for Moose to charge in and break it up. Ali takes a superkick and a spear, and when Miguel climbs the ropes to dive onto him, the Great Hands drag Ali out of the ring and pull him to safety.

Ryan Nemeth v. BDE Added to Rebellion

The match has been officially added to the Rebellion card.

The Hardys vs. The Righteous – Tables Match for the TNA World Tag Team Titles

The match opened with chaos on the floor as both teams brawled around ringside. Tom Hannifan called it “the Hardys’ match,” even though most fans associate them more with ladder matches—though, as he joked, maybe they’re getting too old to climb them every night. The Hardys isolated Vincent in the ring and dropped him with a legdrop before heading outside to whip Dutch into the steel steps. Back inside, they set Vincent up for a top‑rope elbow through a table, but he rolled away and Matt crashed through it on his own, which didn’t count since he wasn’t driven through it by an opponent.

With Matt temporarily taken out, Vincent and Dutch doubled up on Jeff. They tried to whip him into a table propped in the corner, but Jeff stopped short to avoid going through it. Matt recovered, and the Hardys smashed Vincent and Dutch’s heads into the turnbuckles before hitting a slowed‑down version of Poetry in Motion in opposite corners.

The fight spilled back to the floor, where Jeff sent Dutch into—and over—the steel steps. Matt slammed Vincent headfirst into the A‑Game Beverage Hydration Station, prompting Hannifan to note that Vincent might have taken a bottle to the eye. Matt then spat a drink into Dutch’s face while Jeff pulled a ladder from under the ring. Jeff hit Vincent with a broom, and Matt placed Dutch on a table as Jeff climbed the ladder, but Vincent yanked Jeff down and planted him with a DDT on the floor. Vincent then smashed the ladder with a chair to make sure it couldn’t be climbed.

Vincent and Dutch set up the Hardys for a pair of suplexes that would have sent them through tables on the floor, but both Hardys escaped. Dutch placed Jeff on a table outside and climbed to the middle rope for a splash, but Matt caught him, and the Hardys drove Dutch through the table at around 11:40 to score the first fall.

Second Fall

Vincent immediately evened the score by putting Matt through a table at 11:50, tying the match at one fall apiece.

Final Fall

Vincent went for a swanton in the ring but missed and tumbled to the floor. Matt followed with a Twist of Fate on the outside, then placed Vincent on a table. Jeff climbed to the top rope and delivered a Swanton Bomb through the table on the floor, securing the final fall and the victory for the Hardys.

Winners: The Hardys

After the match, Carlos Silva presented the Hardys with the TNA World Tag Team Titles, confirming that they will defend against Bear Bronson and Brian Myers at Rebellion. As the Hardys celebrated, Dutch blindsided them and sent Jeff crashing through the table propped in the corner, leaving the new champions laid out.
