Backstage — Dark State Tension

Dion Lennox corners Saquon Shugars, demanding to know what’s going on. Saquon tells him it’s about the group — about keeping Dark State strong. He says they need to focus on Dion’s title match because of the plan they agreed on.

Dion fires back, saying that to get back to the top, they need gold. This is their only shot, so why risk it? The tension simmers as both men stare each other down, neither willing to budge.

Lola backs Jacy into the corner to break the hold, but Jacy sends her right back into the turnbuckles. Lola fires a back elbow.

Lola avoids a bicycle kick and both women collide with clotheslines. They rise and trade chops and kicks. Jacy strings together a series of kicks but misses an enzuigiri. Lola hits a German suplex, then kicks Jacy in the ribs and lands back heel kicks. She fires off Naomi‑style kicks, then hits the hip‑shaking running hip attack. She hits a second running hip. Reid punches Lola from the apron. Jacy swings for another rolling elbow — misses — and Lola cracks her with a backfist, dropping her flat and holding her down for the three‑count.

Winner: Lola Vice (retains the NXT Women’s Championship)

After the match, Kali Armstrong storms down the ramp and blasts both Fallon and Lainey with a flying shoulder tackle, wiping them out on the floor. She climbs onto the apron, staring down the champion.

On the opposite side of the ring, Kendal Grey steps up, locking eyes with Kali as the tension spikes.

Up above, Izzi Dame appears on the HBALCONY, arms crossed, watching the entire scene unfold with cold detachment.

Zaria makes her way to the ring next, but before she can even reach the steps, Sol Ruca sprints in and attacks her from behind. The two crash into the barricade as officials rush in, unable to contain the eruption of contenders circling the title scene.

The chaos swirls around the arena as the screen fades.

We go to credits.

NXT Revenge, Week One Preview

Tony D’Angelo puts the NXT Championship on the line tonight for the first time since capturing the title at Stand & Deliver on April 4, where he dethroned Joe Hendry in a chaotic Fatal Four‑Way that also featured Ethan Page and Ricky Saints. Although Hendry and Saints made it clear last Tuesday that their pursuit of the championship is far from over, all four men were forced to coexist in an Eight‑Man Tag Team Match against DarkState. D’Angelo appeared to have the match sealed for his team, but Ethan Page tagged himself in at the last second, hit Saquon Shugars with the Twisted Grin, and stole the pinfall. Tonight, Page gets the title shot he’s been angling for — and D’Angelo gets his chance at payback.

Lola Vice will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against former champion and Fatal Influence standout Jacy Jayne. Vice won the title at Stand & Deliver by defeating Jayne and Kendal Grey in a Triple Threat Match, and Jayne has been seething ever since. Last Tuesday, Jayne confronted Vice in a heated verbal exchange alongside Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, making it clear she intends to reclaim the championship she lost. Tonight, the rematch arrives.

The issues between Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan continue to escalate. Parker scored a win over Jordan on the March 31 episode of NXT, adding more fuel to their growing rivalry. Jordan now looks to even the score as the two meet once again, hoping to finally put their conflict to rest.

Additionally, Joe Hendry will perform a live concert for the NXT Universe — and given Hendry’s history, it’s safe to assume the champion‑turned‑musician has something pointed, theatrical, and unforgettable planned.
