Oba Femi then struts his way onto the stage, carrying himself with the same unstoppable confidence he showed on the grandest stage. He walks to the ring without hesitation, steps inside, and raises the microphone.
Oba looks around the arena, smirks, and simply says, “The ruler has arrived,” before dropping the mic.
Asuka & Kairi Sane Confront Iyo Sky Before the Tag Match
Asuka steps forward and tells Iyo she chose her “fake family,” reminding her that Asuka will always be Iyo’s senpai. She says Iyo seems to forget this, but tonight she will remember. Asuka asks how devoting herself to Rhea has worked out. Rhea is champion — but what about Iyo? Asuka tells her she is nothing. It didn’t have to happen this way. If Iyo had shown respect, her senpai would still be by her side.
Kairi adds that she beat Iyo last week, and they will beat her again tonight.
Asuka finishes by saying Iyo is not ready for Asuka.

Backstage — Pearce, Penta, Je’Von Evans, and Ethan Page
Adam Pearce is with Penta and congratulates him on retaining the Intercontinental Championship. Penta nods, taking the praise with his usual calm confidence.
Je’Von Evans walks in and congratulates Penta as well, but makes it clear he isn’t going anywhere. Evans says he’s still coming for that title. Penta fires right back, saying he’ll do it again — and his championship isn’t going anywhere.
Ethan Page steps into the frame. Pearce announces him as the newest member of Raw. Page says he gets what he wants, and what he wants is the Intercontinental Championship. He says he won’t need a second chance.
Pearce cuts in and says they can settle it in the ring.
Evans steps toward Page and says nobody is taking his spot — especially Ethan Page.
In the Arena:
The Americanos make their entrance to the stage.
Bravo grabs the mic first. He says this is Sin City — but to him, it feels like Jobbero City. Rayo jumps in, saying these people can’t dress like them. Bravo adds that they can’t dance like them either, and he breaks into a dance to prove it.
Rayo says the crowd has no respect. Bravo follows by saying they have no culture.
Grande steps forward and raises the stakes. He promises — to himself, to the fans, and to everyone watching around the world — that he will take the champion’s mask off his “ugly mug,” raise it high, and walk home to celebrate the greatest fiesta ever seen.
CM Punk Addresses the WWE Universe After WrestleMania
CM Punk walks through gorilla and heads to the ring, the crowd buzzing as he steps inside and takes a moment before speaking.
Punk says he has been dealing with a lot of loss over the last six months — really, since October. He recalls being in Japan when he got the call that his MMA trainer had passed away. Then Larry crossed the rainbow bridge. And every few weeks, it feels like someone in the WWE family has passed away. He names them, honoring the people behind the scenes who keep the machine running. Punk says these are the people who grind day in and day out, and when he’s away from his own family, they call him family. That’s why he paid tribute to them on his jacket.
Punk says he lost last night. But all the losses he mentioned hurt more than losing the title. Every week, the fans helped him heal from all of it. Being champion gave him a reason not to slow down and collapse into a puddle of tears. Punk thanks everyone for helping him process his grief. He says he feels they’ll help him get through this most recent loss too.
He says he wasn’t supposed to be champion — but being champion at 46 for three minutes isn’t bad. He jokes that he could have reduced himself to a puddle of tears, eaten donuts, and stayed home with his hot wife. Instead, he poured his soul into entertaining them. Because he stayed ready, he got a chance when Seth got hurt. He became champion. If he hadn’t been ready, they’d be listening to Jey Uso right now.
Punk asks why they’re booing — he likes Yeeting. He lost last night, but he’s smiling. Punk says he is still the best in the world. He came to Vegas with a dream he’s had since he was a kid. He stood under the brightest lights on the biggest stage and proved it. Last night wasn’t his night. He’s not going home to sulk or going on vacation, because you never know when a title match might fall from the sky.
CM Punk & Cody Rhodes — Face‑to‑Face on Raw
Cody Rhodes’ music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Punk immediately checks on Cody’s eye, making sure he’s alright.
Punk asks Cody if he screwed up and went over his time.
Cody tells Punk not to leave — this is Raw, and it’s Punk’s time. Cody says maybe he assumed and was incorrect. He was standing by, watching like all of Punk’s peers.
Punk asks if Cody thought he was going to freak out or crash out.
Cody admits he did. Cody says Punk knows who he is, and Cody knows Punk. Tonight Punk is buttoned up, not what Cody expected. Cody says Punk deserves the flowers Vegas gave him. Cody says he doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do — he looks like a loser.
Punk asks if he should feel like a loser. He says he doesn’t. Maybe he looks like one to some, but he doesn’t feel like one. And Cody isn’t a loser. Punk says he knows why Cody feels that way. Cody beat a first‑ballot Hall of Famer. Cody beat a friend and mentor. Punk says he fought someone he hates — it’s easy to stomp his face or mock his sweet pepper necklace. Cody is a winner. Punk says he is the loser.
Punk says heavy is the head that wears the crown. Last night wasn’t his night. He tells Cody to keep being champion. Punk says he has to stay ready, because you never know when a championship opportunity is going to fall out of the sky.
Cody looks at him and simply says: “Just say when.”
Finn Bálor Addresses Judgment Day — Calling Out JD McDonagh
Finn Bálor says that last night, Dominik brought out the Demon — and the Demon put him down. He says he is not done with Judgment Day. Dom drew first blood, so Dom was the first to fall.
Finn says he expected that kind of betrayal from Dominik… but JD? He remembers when JD was twelve years old, walking into the gym to train. Finn says he turned JD into one of the greatest performers in the world. He always believed JD would have his back. But JD made a choice — and he chose Dom.
Finn says this is a full‑circle moment. He brought JD into this business… but tonight, he is going to take him out.

Page wants no part of Rusev and backs away, leaving the ring entirely.
Rusev applies another Accolade on Penta, then lifts the Intercontinental Title and Chong Lis the belt.
Danhausen Shoots T‑Shirts and Makes New Demands
Danhausen comes out to shoot t‑shirts into the crowd, already delighted with himself. He says that John Cena passed the torch to him, so he is now the new GOAT. He walked the red carpet at the Hall of Fame, so that makes him a Hall of Famer. And, of course, he finally got his blimp.
Danhausen says he has new demands. He wants an animated series. He wants his own cereal. And he wants his face on the side of the trucks.
Liv Morgan’s Championship Celebration Interrupted by Sol Ruca
Liv stands in the ring with the Women’s World Championship and says everyone is in the presence of the greatest women’s champion of allllllllll time. Before the real celebration begins, she says there are a few people she wants to thank. First, she thanks Judgment Day for being her rock. She says she wouldn’t be where she is without them and tells them she loves them.
Next, she thanks Stephanie Vaquer. Liv says they beat the hell out of each other, but Vaquer reminded her of a feeling she hadn’t felt in a long time. It reminded her who she is — the most talented woman in WWE. This is her ring, her division, her company, and her title. And if anyone thought she was messy and trouble before, don’t wait…
Sol Ruca’s music hits, cutting her off, and Sol makes her way to the ring.
Sol apologizes for interrupting but says Liv is an inspiration. Her journey over the last decade shows Sol that Liv is the top woman in the division. Sol says Liv deserves this moment.
Liv says Sol has some nerve coming out during her celebration with her family. Liv says she appreciates the kind words, and she’ll be as nice as possible — but Sol is no Liv Morgan. Liv chortles. If Sol wants to make it to WrestleMania, she needs to get out of Liv’s ring.
Sol says she didn’t come out to pick a fight… and she didn’t come out to back down from one.
Adam Pearce steps out and stops them. He says if everyone wants a fight, he’ll give them one. He brings out a referee. Sol Ruca faces Liv Morgan right now.

The tension hangs in the air as Vaquer stands on the stage and Liv stands with her “family,” neither woman backing down.
– We see a Brock Lesnar video package.
Logan Paul, Austin Theory & Paul Heyman Address the WWE Universe
Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and Paul Heyman make their way to the ring. Heyman steps forward and introduces himself. He says he had a speech prepared, but the start of the show threw him off. WrestleMania, he says, is all about expecting the unexpected.
Heyman says there was a moment yesterday so unexpected that it will live in their hearts for the rest of their lives. CM Punk came out and kissed the asses of the people in the back, in the truck, and behind the scenes. He calls them the greatest production team in the world — the same team that has Brock on the “Now” part of the intro. Heyman says these “bitches” cannot face the reality of what happened yesterday. He demands they take Brock out of the “Now” and put him in the “Forever,” because he will be the baddest to ever step in the ring.
Heyman shifts to the present. The “now,” he says, is the resurgence of WWE’s tag team division — a resurgence thanks to Austin Theory and Logan Paul.
Logan takes the mic and says the only reason The Usos and LA Knight stole the victory was because of that ungrateful, backstabbing weasel IShowSpeed. He says he is sick of these YouTubers and streamers who think they can walk into this business and do what real wrestlers do. Logan says he hates these outsiders. Nothing that happened at WrestleMania matters — because Speed ended the night with a piece of Logan’s fist in his face. And despite everything, he and Theory retained their tag titles over the weekend.
Paul Heyman steps forward again. He says everyone should take a moment to appreciate the magnificent favor done for him by GUNTHER. He thanks GUNTHER and says he owes him — and any time GUNTHER wants to collect, Heyman is willing to pay.
But the biggest assist of the entire weekend, Heyman says, came from the man who cut Seth Rollins in half.
He introduces Bron Breakker.
Bron says he was thinking today. One year ago, in this very same arena, he became the leader of The Vision because Seth Rollins was too weak. Bron says his favorite part of WrestleMania weekend was watching Seth get this close to beating GUNTHER… and then ruining everything for him. Bron tells Seth he hopes he’s back there, at home, or watching somewhere — because every single day, Bron is coming after him.
Seth Rollins’ music hits. Seth slides in and blasts Bron in the back with a chair. He cracks Logan with the chair next, but Theory cuts him off with a punch. Logan and Theory double‑team Seth — Theory holds him while Logan drills him with punches.
The Street Profits’ music hits and Ford and Dawkins sprint down the aisle. They go straight after Logan and Theory. Dawkins crushes Logan with a splash, and Ford wipes out Theory. Ford then launches with a flip dive over the ropes onto both Logan and Theory as the fight spills into the crowd.
Bron charges Seth, but Seth meets him with a superkick. Seth unloads with punches and kicks. Seth goes for Black Out, but Bron dodges and cuts him in half with a spear. Bron chokes Seth on the mat, rips off Seth’s shirt, and leans over him with a few choice words.
Bron steps back… and hits a WARP spear, leaving Seth flattened.
JD McDonagh Says the Finn Bálor You Loved Is Dead
JD McDonagh says it’s time to get serious. He reminds Finn that Finn brought him into Judgment Day as part of a family. They were supposed to be family. But Finn has changed so much. JD says Finn is taking cues from CM Punk now. And what about the person who had Finn’s back for twenty years?
JD says Finn talked down to them like he was the leader. People asked how he could do that to Finn after twenty years. JD says it was easy — and he would do it again. He says he’s stepping out of that shadow and he’s going to show everyone that the Finn Bálor they loved is dead.
JD McDonagh vs. Finn Bálor
Finn clotheslines JD over the top rope before the bell even rings. JD recovers and runs Finn into the apron, then sends him into the ringside barrier. Finn back‑drops JD into the crowd and follows with a forearm off the barricade. They brawl through the crowd as Finn unloads with chops and kicks. They fight deeper into the stands before making their way back toward ringside. Finn throws JD into the ring and the match officially starts.
Finn opens with hard chops. JD answers with a back elbow and punches. Finn drives a shoulder into JD’s midsection and kicks him. Finn goes to the top rope for Coup de Grâce, but JD moves and Finn crashes to the mat. JD sends Finn to the floor and hammers him with punches, then drives him into the ringside barrier and the ring post. Finn barely beats the count back inside, and JD headbutts him for a near fall.
JD follows with a kick and more punches, but Finn fires back. JD drops Finn with a drop toe hold and hits a leg drop for another near fall.
JD locks in a reverse chinlock. Finn fights out with elbows, whips JD, and misses a boot in the corner. JD trips Finn and hits a slingshot twisting senton for a near fall. JD chokes Finn in the ropes, then goes back to a reverse chinlock.
JD lands a forearm, but Finn slips out of a slam and hits GTR. Finn fires off punches, takes JD down with a double‑leg, and stomps the midsection. Finn hits Sling Blade but misses the running dropkick. JD rolls him up with a jackknife cover for a near fall. JD cracks Finn with a headbutt for another near fall. JD goes for a moonsault, but Finn gets the boots up.
Finn blasts JD with the running dropkick, heads up top, and connects with Coup de Grâce for the three‑count.
Winner: Finn Bálor
After the match, Dominik attacks Finn from behind and unloads with punches. Dom sets for a 619, but Finn cuts him off with a clothesline and a dropkick. Finn climbs the ropes, but JD pulls Dom to safety before Finn can strike.
Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is with Gunther. She asks how he feels after his win against Seth Rollins. Gunther says he feels fantastic — he proved he was right about everything he said. Jackie asks if Gunther and Paul Heyman knew about Bron Breakker. Gunther says there is no “me and Paul.” Paul only owes him a favor. Gunther says everyone will soon see the World Championship around his waist.
LA Knight walks in. He says from one WrestleMania winner to another, congratulations. Gunther beat Seth — but everyone knows Seth isn’t the only one with his eyes on the prize. Knight says someone needed a three‑on‑one advantage, so that’s an L.
Next week is announced: Becky Lynch will be on Raw. Joe Hendry will be in concert, and Cole notes he is officially on Raw.
Backstage:
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky talk. Rhea tells Iyo she can handle her business here while Rhea goes to SmackDown. They hug, and Iyo walks away.
Liv Morgan sees Rhea walk past her. Liv says she’ll see Rhea again. Rhea says she’s looking forward to it.
Roman Reigns Arrives
A vehicle pulls into the garage — Roman Reigns has arrived.
Jimmy and Jey Uso greet Roman in gorilla position. Roman tells them to join him in the ring.
Roman stands in the ring and tells Las Vegas to acknowledge him. He says he was going to keep it short and sweet, talk about business and the future, but after running into his cousins backstage, he wants to handle family business first. He says he missed this — he missed having their full trust, respect, and admiration. He missed doing business with them.
Right now, he says, they’re separated and scattered. They’re weak like this. CM Punk can talk trash. Some rapper from the ’90s is talking about them. Jey is the Yeet Man now — he changed the environment so much that washed rappers are coming up to him. Roman says, “This ain’t us.”
He holds up a fist. This is them. This is the power. When they come together, no one can touch them. They ran this business for four straight years. Roman says he’s not asking them to serve him — he wants them to be his blood and stand with him.
Jimmy says he speaks for his brother when he says Roman will always be their Tribal Chief. Jimmy and Jey raise their fingers to the sky.
Jacob Fatu’s music hits.
Roman looks at Jacob Fatu and says it’s been a while since he last saw him. There can only be a couple of reasons Fatu came out here — and it must be to acknowledge him.
Fatu says that ain’t it.
Roman says then it must be because he wants this — the title.
Fatu says he doesn’t want that title… he needs that title. He says he’s not out here to be Tribal Chief. He needs everything the Tribal Chief has. He needs the shoe deal, the private jet, the Rolex, more vehicles, a bigger house, better schools for his children. He says he will do whatever it takes. At Backlash, Roman is going to learn that he is all gas and no brakes.
Roman says he agrees with Fatu. He wants all of those things for him too. Maybe Fatu can beat him. But if he can beat him, can he handle the burden of this title? And if he can’t beat him… can he handle the burden of acknowledging him? Roman says the air is thin up here — they are at the top of the mountain.
Roman says he’ll give Fatu the rest of the week. He’s not giving him a yes or a no tonight… but he will see him next week.
We go to credits.

WWE RAW Preview for April 20, 2026
Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage of WWE Raw for April 20, emanating from the T‑Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Tonight marks the first Raw after WrestleMania 42, a night historically known for surprise returns, shocking debuts, and the arrival of new faces from WWE NXT. With the landscape of WWE dramatically reshaped over the weekend, the fallout begins now.
A stacked lineup of names is advertised, including Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Oba Femi, Brock Lesnar, Rhea Ripley, Penta, Logan Paul, and Stephanie Vaquer.
WrestleMania 42 Sunday opened with a seismic moment as Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar, after which Lesnar left his gloves and boots in the ring — a symbolic gesture long associated with retirement. Meanwhile, Saturday saw Stephanie Vaquer lose the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan, and Sunday crowned Rhea Ripley as the new WWE Women’s Champion after she dethroned Jade Cargill.
The weekend’s biggest headline came in the main event of Night Two, where Roman Reigns captured his seventh WWE World Title by defeating CM Punk. Reigns vowed to remain active throughout the summer, while Femi made it clear during the Post‑Show that their paths will cross sooner rather than later — a challenge Reigns openly welcomed.
Elsewhere, GUNTHER is expected to make his presence felt after defeating Seth Rollins with the help of a returning Bron Breakker. With GUNTHER holding a favor from Paul Heyman, and with The Vision’s internal dynamics shifting, he may have plenty to say to Heyman, Paul, and Austin Theory about the faction’s future.
And looming over all of this is Heyman himself, who now must juggle GUNTHER’s demands, The Vision’s instability, and the uncertain future of Brock Lesnar following his apparent retirement.
