Stephanie Vaquer Written Off WWE TV After Injury Angle

Stephanie Vaquer was written off WWE RAW following a backstage attack by The Judgment Day on the April 27 episode, with WWE later confirming an injury update during the show.

The attack is the latest development in Vaquer’s ongoing feud with The Judgment Day, which has intensified since the road to WrestleMania 42. At the event, Vaquer lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan after interference from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, ending her 210-day reign. The finish led to Vaquer calling for a rematch.

On RAW, the situation escalated backstage. Vaquer was walking through the arena when Rodriguez and Perez suddenly attacked her. Rodriguez struck first, throwing her into a road case. Perez then followed up by targeting her shoulder, slamming a crate into it while Rodriguez held her in place.

Morgan then stepped in, standing over Vaquer as she lay on the floor. She grabbed her and mocked her, making it clear she now holds the championship and controls the division. The segment ended with Vaquer down and unable to move, as officials rushed in to check on her.

Jessika Carr and other officials were shown assisting Vaquer, adding to the seriousness of the angle.

Later in the show, WWE provided an official update. During a tag team match featuring Bayley and Lyra Valkyria against Rodriguez and Perez, commentary confirmed that Vaquer suffered a second-degree AC sprain in her shoulder. The update noted that she will be out of action for a period of time.

The injury explanation aligns with reports that WWE planned to write Vaquer off television following the attack. Her absence comes as she has quickly become a key figure on WWE RAW.

With the rivalry still unresolved, the angle is likely setting up a return later in the year. When Vaquer comes back, the conflict with The Judgment Day is expected to continue at a higher level following the events of WWE RAW.
