Zelina Vega has publicly addressed a fake AI-generated video circulating online that falsely portrays her reacting emotionally to her WWE release.
The video, which spread across social media, depicts Vega claiming she felt humiliated, blindsided, and embarrassed by being included in WWE’s recent roster cuts. However, Vega quickly shut down those claims.
Zelina Vega AI Video Response
Vega took to social media to make it clear the video is completely fabricated.
“There’s a weird AI video of me going around talking about my release. Don’t fall for this crap please. I appreciate the support in the comments of course, I love you guys so much, but I didn’t say any of this,” Vega wrote.
She also revealed that efforts to have the video removed have not been successful.
“I tried reporting it but it didn’t work. But if you come across this video, it is fake,” she added.
Actual Reaction to WWE Departure
Vega’s real response to her release has been notably different from what the video suggests. Following the news, she kept her comments measured, acknowledged the business side of WWE’s decision, and indicated she has plans moving forward beyond wrestling.
She was among 25 performers released by WWE on April 24 as part of the post-WrestleMania 42 cuts.
Part of Broader Roster Changes
Vega’s departure came during a wave of roster moves that affected multiple names across the company. Among those released the same day was her husband, Aleister Black.
The situation highlights a growing issue within online spaces, where AI-generated content can quickly spread misinformation, especially involving high-profile figures.
For now, Vega has made her stance clear — the video is not real, and any statements attributed to it should be disregarded.
