Chelsea Green is already looking ahead to her return after undergoing a recent medical procedure to address a long-standing heart condition.

The WWE Superstar revealed earlier this week that she had a procedure to correct SVT (supraventricular tachycardia), an abnormal heart rhythm she had been dealing with for years. Doctors were finally able to diagnose and treat the issue, allowing her to move forward with recovery.

Green shared additional details about what led to the procedure, noting that a serious episode around WrestleMania 42 played a key role.

“After 10 years of dealing with it, we finally caught my SVT,” Green wrote.

“My latest episode during WrestleMania pushed my resting heart rate to 228 for almost 15 minutes. Yesterday, Dr. Girgis spent 3 hours working on me… and I had to be awake for the last hour of the procedure!! Thankfully it was minimally invasive and I’ll be back to work very soon.”

The update provides more context on the severity of the condition, with Green experiencing a dangerously elevated heart rate for an extended period before receiving treatment.

SVT is a type of arrhythmia that originates in the upper chambers of the heart and causes it to beat rapidly. Symptoms can include chest discomfort, dizziness, and fatigue, especially during prolonged episodes.

Timeline for return

Despite the seriousness of the condition, the procedure itself was described as minimally invasive, which is expected to help speed up her recovery timeline.

Green indicated that she plans to return to WWE programming soon, suggesting that the issue has been effectively addressed.

Her absence from in-ring action has not only been tied to the heart condition. She has also been sidelined since February due to an ankle injury, which had already kept her off television in recent months.

Green remains part of the SmackDown roster alongside her husband, Matt Cardona. Prior to her absence, she had been featured regularly on television, including holding the WWE Women’s United States Championship.

With the procedure now behind her and recovery underway, her return appears to be a matter of timing as she works her way back to full health.
