Triple Threat Match: Lince Dorado vs. Octagón Jr. vs. Cruz Del Toro
This was one of those matches where the “why” didn’t matter — the “what” absolutely did. Three insanely athletic luchadores, zero downtime, all gas.
The bell rang and all three paused to see who could get the loudest reaction. Dorado won that contest, but he was also the first one knocked to the floor. Cruz and Octagón went at it, with Octagón hitting a tornado shoulder block. Cruz popped up and trapped him in a leg lock with a little spin for style.
Dorado returned and broke it up, trying to steal a pin on Octagón, but Cruz broke that up. Octagón rolled out and Dorado hit an around‑the‑world DDT on Cruz. Cruz tried a baseball slide, but Dorado hopped onto the ropes to avoid it and then flipped onto Cruz on the outside.
Back inside, Dorado locked Cruz in an armbar, but Cruz powered out with a powerbomb. Octagón re‑entered with a twisting dive from the top. All three fought in the ring until Octagón took out Cruz with a headscissor.
Octagón hit a crossbody from the ring post to the floor on Cruz, then tossed him back in for a tornado splash, but Dorado broke the cover. Dorado and Octagón traded chops before Dorado hit a handspring stunner. Cruz broke that pin too.
All three exchanged superkicks until Octagón hit a cutter on Cruz. Dorado took out Octagón, Cruz took out Dorado — nonstop motion. Octagón hit a moonsault slam on Cruz from the top, but Dorado broke the pin just in time.
Octagón dragged Cruz into position for another high‑risk move, but Cruz yanked him off the post, put him in a tree of woe, and hit a coast‑to‑coast dropkick.
Dorado then swooped in with a shooting star press on Octagón. Cruz grabbed Dorado, but Dorado countered into a brainbuster and made the cover.
Winner: Lince Dorado
La Catalina vs. Jesse Jackson
Catalina has been chasing Flammer and the Reina de Reinas Championship, and tonight she got a warm‑up against Jesse Jackson — not the civil rights icon, not a Jackson 5 member, just a wrestler with an unfortunate name collision.
Before the bell, Flammer came down and joined the Spanish announce team. The match began with Catalina shoving Jackson into the ropes. They traded wristlocks until Jackson bounced Catalina’s head off the canvas. Catalina answered with an armdrag into the corner.
Jackson dodged a charge, but Catalina recovered with a dropkick that sent Jackson outside. Catalina dropped a leg from the apron and greeted Mrs. Roldan at ringside.
Back inside, Jackson hit an axe handle and a meteora, but Catalina kicked out. Jackson threw punches, but Catalina wouldn’t stay down. Jackson chopped her in the corner, but Catalina blasted her with a big boot.
Catalina hit a missile dropkick from the top and a hip attack, but Jackson kicked out at a count of two. Catalina went for another dropkick, missed, and Jackson hit a running elbow. Jackson charged again, but Catalina caught her with a high knee.
Catalina climbed the ropes, but Jackson cut her off and bounced her head off the turnbuckle. Jackson hit a knee and covered, but Catalina kicked out. Jackson tried a suplex, but Catalina countered with a superkick.
Catalina dumped Jackson in front of the ring post, climbed up, and hit a splash for the win in her AAA debut.
Winner: La Catalina
After the match, Flammer and Catalina exchanged words until Las Tóxicas ran down and jumped Catalina. They held her while Flammer attacked. Lola Vice ran in to help but was overwhelmed by the numbers. Then Bayley hit the ring, and together Bayley, Vice, and Catalina cleared Las Tóxicas.
A six‑woman tag at Noche de los Grandes feels inevitable.
It was also announced that El Hijo del Vikingo will face El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. for the AAA Latin American Championship on May 30th.
Psycho Clown Calls Out Pagano
Psycho Clown stood in the ring as a recap aired of the clown‑assault mystery. With Rey Mysterio translating, Psycho said he couldn’t ignore what’s been happening and called Pagano to the ring.
Pagano arrived to his Sol Ruca‑inspired theme. Psycho confronted him with the bandana found on Murder Clown’s unconscious body. Pagano insisted he would never betray his family and said someone was trying to destroy them. He asked how Psycho could believe he’d do this after everything they’d been through. He went in for a hug, but Psycho shoved him away and left.
Pagano shouted after him that when the truth comes out, Psycho will know he was innocent.
Suddenly the War Raiders attacked Psycho from behind. Pagano ran back down and drove them off. Psycho and Pagano stared each other down, then walked out through opposite sides of the entrance as we go to credits.
