WWE SmackDown Results – May 15, 2026

WWE SmackDown Results – May 15, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage results of WWE SmackDown on May 15, from the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina.

We are live from the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina, as Trick Williams makes his way to the ring accompanied by Lil Yachty.

Trick said he was back in Columbia, the place he grew up, the streets that made him. He talked about the food he used to eat at his favorite spot and how that led to calling his shoes the “Lemon Pepper Steppers.” He mentioned playing for South Carolina, pointed out his family in the crowd, and said his mom told him exactly who he was. Trick told everyone to look at the star they created.

Miz interrupted, walking out with Kit Wilson.

Miz said it was a homecoming, but Trick’s career looked like rejected mascots from his daughter’s birthday parties. He asked if this was Sesame Street and wondered if Big Bird was coming out next. Miz said people don’t take Trick seriously.

Yachty yelled at Miz for interrupting Trick and brought up their loss at Backlash, saying Miz was cursed.

Miz insisted he wasn’t cursed.

Kit told Trick to wake up, saying they didn’t understand what “the master” was saying. He said he’d speak in a language they could understand — slam poetry.

Yachty asked if he could respond to Kit’s poem and brought up the lore of Miz’s tiny balls.

Miz demanded silence. He said nobody was saying “tiny balls” again and he wanted out of this city. If he lived here, he’d volunteer to move to Tennessee. He said he would whoop Trick’s ass in front of his mama.

Trick punched Kit and clotheslined Miz. He sent both Miz and Kit to the floor.

Cathy Kelley with Carmelo Hayes

Cathy asked Hayes about facing Ricky Saints. Hayes said he’d been gone a month and watched people make a mockery of the US Title. The people wanted him back — and that’s exactly what he wants.

Ricky Saints walked in, annoyed Hayes didn’t even say hello. He said the world changed while Hayes was gone and there’s a new tenant in the house.

Nick told him he just had his rematch. If he wanted another title shot, he’d have to earn it.

Sami asked if everything he’d done for weeks, months, years was forgotten. His ride‑or‑die fans don’t forget.

Nick said nobody forgot — but Sami was dealing with something, and all he was giving off right now was entitlement.

Rey told him to calm down. Sami insisted he was the same Sami. Everything else had changed.

Tiffany Stratton, Giulia & Kiana James Backstage

Cathy asked Tiffany Stratton where she fits in the division, but Tiffany stopped mid‑sentence as Giulia and Kiana were arguing nearby.

Tiffany said she was perfectly fine on her own, and if people wanted to play the numbers game, that was their problem.

Chelsea Green walked in.

Tiffany immediately said she didn’t want to be part of any team. Chelsea started talking about Giulia and Kiana, but Tiffany cut her off, saying some people are just oblivious, then walked away.

Cody Rhodes & Gunther Contract Confrontation

Cody made his way to the ring carrying chairs and a table, setting everything up himself. He asked the crowd what they wanted to talk about, then said he had everything ready for a contract signing — all Gunther had to do was come to SmackDown and make their Clash in Italy match official.

Gunther’s music hit and he walked to the ring.

Gunther asked Cody if he had any idea how much time, work, strategy, and negotiation it took to bring the greatest wrestler alive to SmackDown. He said Cody had to make it about himself, like a typical American. He pointed at Cody’s neck and said Cody cries and complains to make everything revolve around him. Not with Gunther. This was his deal, his title match, and soon his championship.

Gunther told the Golden Boy that all he wanted was professionalism — Cody should address him nicely and say “please.”

Gunther asked him again to be nice.

Cody said Gunther was the one who blindsided him and convinced Paul Heyman to get him a title shot. He didn’t sign in Jacksonville, and he wasn’t going to sign in Columbia either. Cody said yes, he has a tattoo on his neck — and the contract is in the ring waiting for Gunther’s signature.

Cody told him: please come sign the contract… to guarantee your ass will be kicked at Clash in Italy.

Gunther told Cody that while he did say “please,” he didn’t feel it. He demanded Cody say, “please, Mr. Gunther.”

Royce Keys walked out and stood beside Gunther without looking at him until he finally turned. Keys said if Gunther wouldn’t sign the contract, he would.

Keys entered the ring and asked for the pen.

Gunther stopped him, took the pen. Keys took it back. Gunther snatched it again.

Nick Aldis came out and said there was now a situation. The process was simple — the contract was supposed to have Gunther’s name on it. But Gunther overplayed his hand, and now the title shot was up for grabs. Royce Keys would face Gunther tonight, and the winner would face Cody in Italy.

Cody told Keys he was proud of him. He said they were friends, but he’d be honest — Keys is easy to find and hard to beat.

Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Talla Tonga & Shinsuke Nakamura

Solo said they weren’t expecting that announcement. He asked Tama if he understood his assignment tonight. Solo said Truth wasn’t cleared, but Priest was walking around — Tama needed to take care of Priest. Solo told Talla they needed to talk to Royce.

Nakamura walked up and told Tama he needed to decide.

Before Tama could answer, Talla Tonga attacked Nakamura from behind and choke‑slammed him through a table.

We will return after a break with more results from the May 15, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Gunther, Nick Aldis & the Contract Fallout

We came back from commercial with Gunther yelling at Nick Aldis.

Nick told him they had a deal — and Gunther went back on his word. You don’t play games with him. Because Gunther tried to manipulate the process, he now has to earn his title shot the hard way.

Gunther vs. Royce Keys later tonight decides who goes to Italy.

Sami told Johnny he had to tune out the noise and remember who he is. Don’t let anyone take that from you.

Jade Cargill, B‑Fab & Michin Confronted by Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss

We returned from break with Jade Cargill making her way to the ring alongside B‑Fab and Michin.

Jade said everyone acts tough when she isn’t in the building — but the moment her music hits, everyone gets real quiet. Rhea Ripley learned that last week. At Clash in Italy, she said she busts champions, and the championship is coming home with her. She told the crowd they don’t even know why… because she is that—

Charlotte Flair’s music cut her off.

Flair walked out with Alexa Bliss.

Charlotte said nobody wanted to hear Jade talk. Alexa reminded Jade this was Flair Country, and Charlotte let out a “Wooo.” Charlotte said they’ve done this dance for years, and Jade finally pissed her off. She told Jade, “Let’s play.”

Jade called them backup dancers and asked where Rhea was.

Alexa actually liked Jade’s line and asked if Jade’s backup dancers were supposed to make her look good.

Charlotte said Jade’s crew was only there to do her dirty work — so why not have their match right now? She told Jade to take notes.

Jade told them to entertain her, because she was getting bored.

The show heads to a commercial break. More WWE SmackDown results from May 15, 2026 are coming up next.

–– Here is what’s in store for tonight’s show ––

  • Gunther to make decision regarding SmackDown and Cody Rhodes
  • Jade Cargill to speak
  • Trick Williams returns to South Carolina for a celebration
  • Damian Priest & R-Truth vs. Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga
  • Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Michin & B-Fab

WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley teamed with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair last Friday in an attempt to shut down Fatal Influence, but the match unraveled when Jade Cargill blindsided Ripley. Moments later, Michin and B‑Fab joined Cargill in the ring, turning the bout into a three‑on‑three assault that left Ripley, Flair, and Bliss laid out. Tonight, Cargill appears with something to say, while Michin and B‑Fab step into tag team action against Bliss and Flair.

United States Champion Trick Williams returns to his hometown with a message of his own. Last week’s “funeral” for The Gingerbread Man was interrupted by Sami Zayn, who mocked the entire spectacle — only for the Gingerbread Man to rise from the casket and reveal himself as Lil Yachty, smashing Zayn repeatedly with a candy‑cane kendo stick. With emotions running high, Williams addresses the WWE Universe tonight.

Ricky Saints goes one‑on‑one with former United States Champion Carmelo Hayes. Saints fell short against Cody Rhodes on May 1 but rebounded with a win over Matt Cardona last Friday. Hayes, meanwhile, competes for the first time since challenging Zayn for the U.S. Title on April 3. Both men enter with something to prove.

After defeating Talla Tonga last week, Damian Priest now faces Talla’s stablemate Tama Tonga. Priest and R‑Truth were originally scheduled to meet Tama and Talla in tag action, but SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced on X that Truth is not medically cleared. Priest now battles Tama one‑on‑one as tensions between the teams continue to rise.

Additionally, GUNTHER appears tonight after making his intentions clear regarding Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship. With Backlash fallout still unfolding, the Ring General’s next move could reshape the title picture.
