All Elite Wrestling is teaming up with Warner Bros. Discovery and TikTok to launch a new digital pre-show experience titled “AEW Advance,” beginning next week.
The new 60-minute live streaming show will debut on May 27, airing a few hours before the post-Double or Nothing edition of Dynamite. The program will stream live at 6 p.m. Eastern across AEW’s official TikTok accounts, including AEW, AEW on TV, and TBS.
Behind-the-Scenes Focus
According to AEW’s announcement, “AEW Advance” is designed to give fans a more immersive look at the company’s weekly television production. The pre-show will be hosted by AEW broadcast personalities Arkady Aura and Lexy Nair.
A press release described the concept as a behind-the-scenes digital event featuring talent-focused content and arena access moments leading into Dynamite.
“AEW Advance is a 60-minute TikTok LIVE event bringing fans behind-the-scenes of AEW Dynamite,” the statement read. It also outlined planned segments including wrestler “get ready with me” features, pre-match preparation footage, storyline previews, and live looks at the arena atmosphere as fans arrive.
The show may also include brief appearances from announcers and select AEW talent, offering a more informal and interactive approach compared to traditional pre-show formats.
Unclear Long-Term Plans
While the debut episode is locked in for May 27, it has not yet been confirmed whether “AEW Advance” will become a weekly fixture or remain a special one-off concept tied to major Dynamite episodes.
The first edition will take place ahead of Dynamite at the Liacouras Center, continuing AEW’s push into expanded digital and social media distribution strategies.
If successful, the collaboration could signal a broader shift in how AEW integrates live social media content into its weekly television ecosystem.
