Fabian Aichner TNA Contract Length Revealed

Fabian Aichner is set to remain with TNA Wrestling for the foreseeable future following his recent debut with the company.

Aichner, formerly known as Giovanni Vinci in WWE, made his first appearance for TNA on the May 14 episode of iMPACT. He showed up after Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater to capture the X-Division Championship, signaling the start of his run with the promotion.

A new update has now provided clarity on his status. According to a report from The Takedown on SI.com, Aichner’s deal is not a short-term arrangement and will keep him under contract through at least the summer. The detail was included in an interview conducted by Jon Alba.

“The Takedown on SI has learned that it was far from a one-off appearance, as he has signed a contract with the promotion that a source indicates will take him at least through the summer,” wrote Alba.

During the interview, Aichner also addressed his absence from wrestling over the past year following his WWE release in February 2025.

“I think it’s pretty well known that I took a little bit of time off over the last course of the year. It was quite the roller coaster towards the end of his WWE run, and the whole point was to recharge the batteries a little bit. I think that definitely got accomplished,” he said.

“And as it so happens, sometimes things were just pointing to TNA. A friend of mine in Germany pointed out that TNA has been improving their product greatly. I agree with that. So I checked it out.”

Aichner is already set for in-ring action as part of his new run. He is scheduled to compete on the May 28 episode of iMPACT, where he will face Eddie Edwards.

With a confirmed contract in place and matches already lined up, Aichner’s arrival appears to be part of a longer-term plan as TNA continues to strengthen its roster.
