Stephanie Vaquer WWE Return Delayed Again, Not Expected For RAW In Italy

Stephanie Vaquer’s return to WWE programming has been pushed back further, with a new update indicating she is not expected to be part of the upcoming RAW in Italy.

According to PWInsider, there had been internal discussion about bringing Vaquer back into storylines as early as this weekend. Creative ideas were even pitched for her to appear on Monday’s RAW. However, the latest information suggests those plans will not move forward at this time.

The report stated: “As we noted last week in the Elite section, there were some in the company who expected Stephanie Vaquer back in the storyline mix by this weekend. We were told this morning that there were pitches for her for Monday’s Raw but as of today, she was not expected to travel to Italy.”

Vaquer has been off television since the April 27 episode of RAW. She was written out through a backstage attack involving Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, who were aligned with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. During the segment, Perez drove an equipment box into Vaquer’s shoulder, setting up her absence.

On commentary, Michael Cole announced that Vaquer suffered a second-degree AC sprain. The injury was later confirmed as legitimate by Bryan Alvarez, with Dave Meltzer also reporting that it was real. Due to the injury, a planned match between Vaquer and Liv Morgan at Backlash on May 9 in Tampa had to be canceled.

The exact cause of the injury has not been confirmed. It remains unclear whether it happened before the April 27 segment or during that angle, though the storyline was used to explain her absence.

Vaquer has now been sidelined for over five weeks. WrestleVotes Radio previously noted that no clear return date was widely known within WWE, with internal expectations pointing to at least a six-week recovery period. Some within the company had speculated that her return could extend closer to SummerSlam.

Before her absence, Vaquer held the Women’s World Championship for 210 days. Her reign ended at WrestleMania 42 night one, where she lost the title to Liv Morgan in a match that was kept under seven minutes due to both competitors dealing with physical issues going into the event.
