Shane Thorne of TM-61 defeated Roderick Strong at last night’s WWE NXT live event in San Jose to advance his team in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

The match was supposed to be Austin Aries and Strong vs. TM-61 but Aries suffered the injury at Thursday’s live event. NXT General Manager William Regal made Strong vs. Thorne last night in San Jose.
