As was previously reported, SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan stated over the weekend that he was actually hoping that Johnny Gargano would lose his match against Tommaso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, so that way Gargano would become a free agent and possibly end up on SD Live.
