It is with great sadness we report that former WWE star Ashley Massaro has passed away aged 39.

Massaro passed away on Thursday and her death is currently under investigation, according to The Blast, the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

Her cause of death remains unknown.

A funeral will take place on Tuesday in New York.
