Old School Wrestling Veteran “White Lightning” Tim Horner celebrates his 60th birthday today.

After his debut in 1978, Tim Horner wrestled for several different territories, such as Jim Crockett Promotions, Georgia Championship Wrestling, the World Wrestling Federation, Smoky Mountain Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling.

While Horner did win several championships in minor promotions over they years, he never won any titles in any of the big companies.

He now works as a County Commissioner in Hamblen County, Tennessee.

• Possible Mystery Partners For Chris Jericho On AEW’s Debut On TNT

On the debut episode of AEW’s TV show on TNT on October 2, Chris Jericho will team up with two mystery partners to take on the team of Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, former Impact World Tag Team Champions LAX could end up being Jericho’s mystery partners.

Below is what Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio:

“Impact made deals with everyone that anyone who has a gimmick there they can take and go elsewhere.

I don’t think [LAX is] going to WWE because they’re starting with AAA at next taping — September 8th — so that leads me to believe the odds are they’re going to AEW and I know that was the direction they were leaning because the could still do the PWGs and AAA. They wouldn’t be able to do indies though because once AEW gets going those guys aren’t allowed to do indies.

I know they were leaning toward AEW. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are Jericho’s mystery partners… we’ll see.”
