On this day in 1993, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.

This episode was pre-taped at the Utica War Memorial in Utica, New York and featured matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF SummerSlam 1993’ PPV.

Here’s the card:

1. Marty Jannetty vs. Barry Horowitz

2. The Quebecers vs. Dan Dubiel & Scott Despres

3. Adam Bomb vs. Mike Moraldo

• “I hope it f*ckin fails miserably” – Former WWE Wrestler Minutes After WWE Releases ThunderDome Video

WWE will be returning to live programming tonight, as they move from the Performance Center to the ThunderDome at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

The set of ThunderDome looks pretty amazing and it’ll feature virtual fans as well.

While WWE wrestlers wish that it’ll turn out to be a success, some other wrestlers don’t think so.

Former WWE wrestler Karl Anderson, who’s now signed to IMPACT Wrestling, tweeted the following, just minutes after WWE revealed the finished ThunderDome set:

“I hope it f*ckin fails miserably.”

Anderson later clarified that he wasn’t talking about WWE ThunderDome:

For fucks sakes guys, I’m not talkin about #WWETHUNDERDOME ..
You blithering marks gotta get a life.

Fans still think Anderson was talking about WWE ThunderDome.
