On this day in 1992, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.

This episode was pre-taped from the Hersheypark Arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Survivor Series 1992’ PPV.

• RAW Wrestler Finally Signs New WWE Deal

Rey Mysterio’s WWE contract ended back in July, and he had been working on a verbal deal with the company since then.

The Wrestling Observer previously reported that The Master Of The 619 had agreed to a new WWE deal, but couldn’t confirm if pen met paper. In an update to that report, the Wrestling Observer has now confirmed that Mysterio has agreed to a 3-year deal with WWE.

As noted before, Dominik Mysterio will also be a part of that deal.

Rey Mysterio is currently out of action with a triceps injury, but he’s still working on TV in a non-wrestling role by his son Dominik’s side.
