It was announced during last night’s WWE event in Norwich, England that the WWE United Kingdom Championship will be defended at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Chicago, Illinois event on May 20.
NXT TakeOver happens on the same weekend as the main roster’s Backlash pay-per-view.
WWE U.K. Champion Tyler Bate is scheduled for an upcoming title defense against Mark Andrews, while Trent Seven and Pete Dunne are set to do battle to determine the new Number One Contender. These matches will determine what match will take place at NXT TakeOver.
