Female independent wrestling star Candice LeRae, the real-life wife of Johnny Gargano, gave the following update on Johnny after last night’s NXT TakeOver: Chicago event where Tommasso Ciampa turned on Gargano following their incredible Ladder Match against Paul Ellering’s Authors of Pain:
“Johnny is hurting physically, mentally, and we’re drained emotionally. It was a long night and we appreciate everyone’s kind words. It’s going to be a process, but my husband is resilient and will be back stronger than ever ASAP.
