As previously reported, 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena is currently being labeled as a “free agent” by WWE, which would suggest that he is not technically assigned to Raw or SmackDown at this point. It’s being reported that one idea that has been brought up backstage in WWE Creative is for Cena to appear on both Raw and SmackDown, at least for a while.
This is due to a backstage panic that has arisen because of the recent lackluster ratings, particularly Raw’s ratings. The hope is that a truly big-name star like Cena can help
