Asuka will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Asuka on the July 14 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Asuka was present on the July 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, declaring that no one was ready for Asuka. Bianca immediately cut her off, leading to a brawl between the two women. Charlotte Flair would get involved, and IYO SKY would try to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Asuka, but Bianca prevented the cash in from being official.

Asuka defeated Bianca at WWE Night of Champions to win the WWE Women’s Championship.
