Timothy Thatcher Match Stopped Due To Injury At MLW Never Say Never

Timothy Thatcher Match Stopped Due To Injury – Timothy Thatcher took on Tracy Williams at MLW Never Say Never in singles competition, but the bout was seemingly cut short due to referee stoppage.

Williams was perched on the top rope when Thatcher pulled him down by the leg. Williams landed a DDT and seemingly knocked Thatcher out. The referee counted three, but said Thatcher got the shoulder up and the bout briefly continued. After the referee again checked on Thatcher, the decision was made to stop the match and award the victory to Williams.

MLW officials checked on Thatcher after the match, but he was able to exit the ring and go up the ramp under his own power.

Later in the show, the broadcast team noted that Thatcher had been diagnosed with a concussion, but the severity was unclear.

We will continue to update fans on the status of Thatcher as more is known.
