Josh Alexander is back and he wants the title he never lost.

The main event of IMPACT Wrestling’s Slammiversary pay-per-view saw Alex Shelley defeat Nick Aldis. The action was not done there, however, as Josh Alexander made his return to the company and confronted Shelley.

Alexander took in the cheers from the crowd and said, ‘I’m back’ to Shelley to close the show.

This was Alexander’s first appearance in IMPACT since he relinquished the IMPACT World Championship due to injury. Alexander’s torn triceps injury was first announced on the March 24 episode of Busted Open Radio. He later forfeited the title on the April 6 episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS.
