WWE Hall of Famers Kane and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman also posted tributes on social media, with the Republican Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, writing, “Tragic news. Windham was an exceptional talent in the ring. His creation, Bray Wyatt, is an iconic character. Backstage, Windham was a lot of fun to be around, one of those people who never had a bad day. What a loss, both professionally and personally.”
Talent outside of WWE also remembered Wyatt. AEW’s Ricky Starks, Impact Wrestling’s Trinity (former WWE star Naomi), and Brandi Rhodes – Cody Rhodes’ wife — reacted to Wyatt’s death on X, with Starks writing, “One of a kind talent and a person beloved by many. Rest easy.”

One-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions Dax Harwood, who shared the ring with Wyatt on many occasions during his tenure in WWE, wrote, “Life ain’t always beautiful. Words feel useless. I’ll never forget your laugh. I’m jealous you get to be with Brodie. Rest In Peace Windham. Everyone, Love your loved ones.”
