In an upcoming episode of NXT on August 29, a match has been scheduled between Tyler Bate and Dabba-Kato. Dabba-Kato made a return on the August 15 episode of NXT, attacking Bate.

WWE has also revealed the final participants for the NXT Global Heritage Invitational Tournament: Axiom and Akira Tozawa. Axiom is part of Group A, while Tozawa is part of Group B.

The tournament is slated to kick off on August 29 with a unique format. There will be two groups, each consisting of four superstars. The competition will take the form of a round-robin style tournament, with matches having a 12-minute time limit. Two points will be awarded for pinfall or submission victories, while draws will earn one point for both participants.

The winners of Group A and Group B will face off on the September 26 episode of WWE NXT. The ultimate victor of the tournament will earn the opportunity to challenge Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup at NXT No Mercy.
