Alisha Edwards emerged victorious in a high-stakes Battle Royal, earning the prestigious status of the new #1 contender to the Impact Wrestling Knockouts World Title.

The10-Knockout Battle Royal featured an array ofcompetitors, including Jessicka, Courtney Rush, Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly, Vanna Black, Savannah Evans, and Gisele Shaw. In a climactic moment, Alisha Edwards showcased her determination and skill by eliminating both Jody Threat and KiLynn King, solidifying her claim to the coveted title opportunity.

Alisha Edwards, a stalwart presence in Impact Wrestling since March 2017, now stands on the brink of a significant career milestone. Surprisingly, despite her years of dedication to the promotion, this will only mark her second shot at the Knockouts World Title. Her previous attempt culminated in a valiant effort but ended in defeat against then-champion Taya Valkyrie on August 15, 2019, at the Impact TV tapings in Mexico.

With her hard-earned victory in the Battle Royal, Alisha Edwards will now turn her attention to the reigning Knockouts World Champion, Trinity. The formidable Trinity secured the title at Slammiversary on July 15, besting Deonna Purrazzo. Edwards’s upcoming title match against Trinity is scheduled to take place at the highly anticipated Victory Road event, and fans are eagerly anticipating the clash between these two accomplished Knockouts.

In another exciting development, the returning Jordynne Grace was announced to make her triumphant return to the ring. After her appearance during Emergence left fans in anticipation, Deonna Purrazzo took up the challenge and issued a bold call-out to Grace. As a result, a match between Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace has been confirmed for Victory Road, setting the stage for what promises to be a captivating encounter between these two accomplished competitors.

After a period of absence, Jordynne Grace recently made her return to Impact Wrestling. Her absence began after a Last Chance match against then-champion Deonna Purrazzo at Impact Under Siege on May 26. Following this match, Grace took time away from the ring to recharge and reset. Her return was confirmed during the Emergence event. It’s worth noting that Jordynne Grace’s return comes with a new deal in place.
