Gunther vs. Chad Gable
They lock up, and Gunther sends Chad Gable to the mat. They continue to grapple, with Gunther using his power advantage to gain control early. Gable attempts a Greco Roman knuckle lock, but Gunther kicks him instead. Gunther employs a side headlock takedown, followed by another one, but Gable escapes using a head scissors.
Gable tries to go for an ankle lock, but Gunther reaches the ropes. Gunther retaliates with a kick to the chest, chopping Gable down in the process. He continues to dominate with European uppercuts, forearms, and a slam, followed by a kick to Gable’s ribs. Gunther dishes out more punishment with boots and elbow strikes.
Gable manages to counter Gunther and applies a heel hook with a grapevine, using the ropes for added leverage. Gunther retaliates with a boot to the head, nearly securing a pinfall. The action intensifies with punches and chops as both competitors fight for control. Chad pulls down the straps and he chops Gunther and connects with forearms. Gunther puts Chad on the top turnbuckle and chops him. Gunther stretches Chad on the turnbuckles and Chad rolls to the floor.
As Gunther attempts a powerbomb, Chad Gable manages to counter and send both of them over the top rope and to the outside. Chad uses his agility to his advantage, making it difficult for Gunther to keep control. The two continue to exchange chops and strikes.
Chad Gable tries to mount a comeback, and he uses his technical prowess to target Gunther’s legs. He attempts to lock in an ankle lock, but Gunther manages to stay on his feet and deliver a chop to Chad.
The action spills to the outside as they both tumble over the top rope. It’s a back-and-forth battle with neither competitor willing to give an inch.
Chad executes a devastating German suplex on the arena floor, showing his determination to win. He sends Gunther back into the ring before the referee’s count reaches ten. Gunther retaliates with a powerful powerbomb but can’t secure the victory, as Chad manages to kick out just in time.
Gunther decides to take a risk and climbs to the top rope, looking for a high-impact move. However, Chad interrupts his plans, chopping him off the turnbuckles. Chad seizes the opportunity and hits a superplex, followed by a diving headbutt, but Gunther still kicks out at the last moment.
Chad attempts to apply his lethal ankle lock submission hold, but Gunther fights his way out of it with well-placed kicks. Chad goes for his Chaos Theory move, but Gunther counters it effectively. The tension escalates as both competitors relentlessly pursue victory.
The momentum shifts back and forth, with Chad attempting a moonsault from the turnbuckles, only to be met with Gunther’s raised feet. Chad refuses to back down and applies another ankle lock, this time grapevining Gunther’s leg and pulling him away from the ropes. Gunther struggles but manages to break free.
The final moments of the match see Gunther locking in a sleeper hold with a body scissors, slowly wearing down Chad. Chad valiantly tries to regain his footing with Gunther on his back, but he can’t overcome the relentless pressure. Gunther executes a devastating sleeper suplex followed by a powerful powerbomb and finally secures the victory with a lariat, ending this hard-fought contest.
Winner: Gunther
Gable’s family are shown in tears in the crowd, as Gunther celebrates and we go to credits.
