Ortiz took to social media to address Santana’s comments, implying that their partnership may be coming to an end.

In his response, Ortiz expressed surprise at learning about the situation through the vignette, stating, “What a way to find out years of having your back meant nothing.” He also wished Santana good luck on his solo journey, sarcastically referring to their partnership as a “crutch” that had helped Santana walk for the last 14+ years.
