Lexis King (Brian Pillman Jr) Makes NXT Debut

Lexis King (Brian Pillman Jr) Makes NXT Debut – At NXT Halloween Havoc on October 24, after weeks of anticipation and vignettes, Lexy King (formerly known as Brian Pillman Jr.) made his highly-anticipated in-ring debut for the NXT brand. In this debut match, King faced off against Dante Chen in singles action and emerged victorious.

King secured the win by pinning Dante Chen after delivering a swinging neckbreaker from the middle rope. However, what stood out was King’s statement as he made his entrance. He declared that Brian Pillman is dead, signifying a symbolic transformation in his wrestling persona.

Before joining NXT, Brian Pillman Jr. had a run in AEW, where he competed in both tag team matches alongside Griff Garrison and various singles contests. After his contract with AEW concluded in July 2023, Pillman made the transition to WWE and adopted the name “King” for his new chapter in NXT. His debut marked the beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey in the NXT brand.
