Former WWE Superstar Simon Gotch became the brand new XWA Frontier Sports Champion after emerging victorious in the main event of Sunday night’s XWA Charter Hall event in Colchester, England.
Gotch has also become the first non-British wrestler to hold the championship, as it had previously been held by individuals such as Jody Fleisch, Danny Blaze, and Doug Williams.
XWA has since announced via their official Twitter page that Gotch will defend the championship against Williams when they return to Colchester for an event on October 8th:
