Ever since Daniel Bryan’s retirement from in-ring action in WWE, there has been speculation about him possibly wrestling again in the future once his WWE contract expires. There have been rumors of him wanting to wrestle in Japan, specifically for the New Japan Pro Wrestling promotion.
However, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that Bryan may not be medically cleared to wrestle for New Japan, as they apparently have a similar policy as WWE when it comes to concussions. Meltzer stated:
