David Penzer, GFW ring announcer has today put out a tweet suggesting there appears to be a major name backstage for tonight’s tape delay Impact Wrestling. Based on recent rumors from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter there has been talk about bringing in Jim Cornette back to the company as a television character.

Cornette previously worked with TNA from 2006-2009, but during his time he became increasingly frustrated
