Former women’s tag team champion Piper Niven has been conspicuously absent from WWE programming recently, and it’s now been revealed why.

Reports from Fightful Select indicate that Niven suffered a hand injury within the last month, which has kept her out of action. While details are not confirmed, there are concerns that Niven may have sustained a broken hand.

Niven’s last match was in a tag team contest on WWE Main Event in St. Louis, Missouri.
