TNA Hard to Kill Draws Significant Pay-Per-View Buys – Hard To Kill 2024 proved to be a significant success for TNA Wrestling, garnering impressive viewership numbers and generating considerable buzz within the wrestling community.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the event recorded 19,700 television pay-per-view buys, marking a substantial increase from the previous pay-per-view, IMPACT Bound For Glory 2023, which garnered 6,900 buys. When factoring in streaming purchases, the total buys for Hard To Kill amounted to around 60,000, placing it in league with TNA Genesis 2006, a landmark event that featured the highly anticipated encounter between Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle.
Hard To Kill not only showcased TNA Wrestling’s return to its TNA branding but also introduced Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler in WWE, to the TNA roster, further adding to the event’s significance.
Looking ahead, TNA Wrestling is set to continue its momentum with the upcoming TNA Sacrifice event, scheduled as a streaming-exclusive premium event on March 8. While traditional pay-per-view returns may be delayed for a few months, TNA remains committed to delivering top-notch wrestling entertainment to its dedicated fanbase through innovative streaming platforms and captivating events.
