Jey Uso and Ilja Dragunov React to Their King of the Ring Match on RAW – In the main event of the May 13 episode of WWE Raw, Jey Uso beat Ilja Dragunov to advance to the semi-finals of the WWE King of the Ring tournament.

In a Raw Exclusive, Jey Uso commented on his win.

“Shout-out to that newcomer Ilja ‘The Dragon’, I see you, Uce. Blowing heat tonight. But I had to cool you off. I’m sorry. Welcome to Mon-Jey Night Raw round here, Uce. You did good, though. We gonna cross paths again, Uce. YEET,” Uso said.

Uso was then asked about his looming match with Gunther, as Jackie Redmond noted that Jey nearly beat him the last time they clashed, but Jimmy Uso cost him the match.

“To be honest, I had him beat. I had Gunther beat for the Intercontinental Championship, and then [Jimmy] got involved. So we gonna run it back, Uce. Guess what? Jealous Jim, if you want to roll up again, you’ve been out for a little bit, but please come back. You gonna get this work, too, Uce. Keep your nose out my business. But back to ‘The Ring General’ Gunther. Hey, bro. It’s me and you in the semi-finals next week. I don’t know what city we at, but Main-Event Jey Uso gonna be in there, if you know what I’m talking about. YEET,” Uso said.

Jey was also asked to share his thoughts on the way Bray Wyatt’s fireflies have become a part of his entrance. He noted that it felt like Bray Wyatt was looking down at all of them, and he expressed his appreciation.

“It’s hard for me to explain my feelings, but man, when the fireflies come out, man, I think about him. We all think about him, the whole world think about him, the WWE Universe thinks about Bray Wyatt. So I’m just happy it organically happened with me, man. I ain’t never asked for them. They just showed up. I know that’s my dawg looking down on us, man. So, man, I love you. Bray Wyatt and the whole universe, man, I love all y’all for showing love, man. Fireflies always gonna be out here YEET-ing with your boy,” Uso said.

In another Raw Exclusive, Ilja Dragunov was asked about his loss.

“I mean, what should I say? It’s so frustrating, it is. But where is actually the shame to lose to the man the ‘Main Event’, right? All I know right now, I’m tired, I’m in pain, but the beauty of it is that in already very dangerous in this ring. But when I’m pain, I’m an entire monster,” Dragunov said.

Dragunov was then asked to share his predictions for the semi-final match between Gunther and Jey Uso. He praised both of them but offered a prediction for himself. The former NXT Champion stated that nobody was safe.

“Predictions? I mean, they’re both like the absolute bar. The only prediction I can make is for myself, and this prediction is, no one is safe anymore. To quote Shawn Michaels, ‘I’m what the kids call a real problem,’” Dragunov said.
